"Lovely old property with lots of character. Comfortable beds and nicely furnished. As a group of friends we enjoyed our stay. 20 min taxi or bus ride into York. Very few negatives. Bit of road noise as it's a busy road, a few hair dryers would have been nice, description said it was near a shop, but not the case."

"What a lovely place to stay. The cottage was immaculate and had great facilities. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the owner left tea, coffee, biscuits and even a pint of milk in the fridge; very welcome after a long journey. The location is brilliant - not far from the town centre, outlet village, river and it was on a bus route. would highly recommend this cottage."
