Location was perfect. Lobby was clean pool area was clean. Room was filthy. Bathroom was dirty as well. Some of the staff were amazing but there was just some that needed better customer service. They really need to upgrade on some of the furniture. Overall I would give it a 2⭐️
For the price it was okay, but I was alone and would not have brought my wife. I was put on the third floor with elevators out of service. The room faced the busy boulevard and extremely noisy. Draperies on windows instead of thin curtains would have helped. No phone to connect to outside or front desk. Hard mattress. A number of questionable hombres were wandering the halls. Room was clean and the desk clerk pleasant and helpful. Proximity was convenient for me to do business at the U.S. Consulate. I would book again but ask for a room away from the street.
The Cons: We made a reservation for the king side bed room, but at the hotel all they had available was the queen so we ended up paying more for less since they would not give us a refund. There's a lot of vagabonds in the area an a lot of loitering at the hotel premises, believe its due to being just a walking distance to the US Consulate. The whole hotel smelled like they just fumigated recently. . The room, tv, bathroom and decoration are very antique, like they really need to renovate/upgrade now. The Pros: They have a fenced parking with a security guard on post, they have irons on request. The hotel is walking distance to the US Consulate and to several fast food restaurants, DHL/Fedex, Telmex, Costco , etc...it is a good and cheap choice if you are just staying for one night, other than that better off go somewhere else.
Close to the best of Hermosillo.
Helpful Staff, Receptionist Josi in particular.
Water pressure and hot water in shower were excellent.
Very rustic, waystation for migrant workers, lots of men hanging around, uncomfortable for my wife and daughter, they were noisy all night.
WI FI was lousy.

The good things about this hotel is it is centrally located and is in walking distance to the US consulate, main plaza, and university (which is where the best hot dogs on the planet are located). The staff is very friendly and will do their best to help you in whatever they can. The property feels secure and is watched throughout the night.
That being said the staff can only do so much. This hotel needs a serious refurbishment. I understand you get what you pay for but that is a poor excuse in this hotel. The hotel has many broken items. It needs a paint job, many floor tiles are cracked and/or loose, and the smoke detectors need new batteries (how does the staff put up with that chirping all day?!). When we got to our room we immediately noticed the lights were not working. The guard came up and looked at it and said that he knew the hotel had more light bulbs but he was not allowed to go get them. He was very kind and he ended up getting light bulbs from another (I am assuming empty) room. The guard also helped us figure out how to use the TV because the TV is so old it uses a digital to analog converter and I was not used to that.
In the morning I was treated to a cold shower. The first guy I spoke to said you had to just run the water (I ran it for 10 minutes), the person I spoke to said the pipe broke (I think this is what happened). The included breakfast (if it is open)is cereal, toast, orange juice, and milk.
