We stayed overnight for a ice fishing trip and found the place to be fantastic,staff were very helpful and courteous.we were very surprised at the size of our room with 2 very comfortable queen beds,the bathroom was very well laid out,everything worked as it should.we did not check out the pool or hot tub as we spent all of our time fishing,but a very clean and comfortable stay,definitely be returning.

Although there are some signs this resort is a little tired, our families’ experience this year was exceptional! José, at the front desk went out of his way to welcome us and accommodate early check-in’s. The rooms were very clean and the waterslides, pools and hot tubs were working and closely monitored. We will return!

Beautiful location! Room was great with a lovely view. The restaurant is just okay. The adults only pool area is really nice, but guaranteed at least one pool will be out of order when you visit. The hot tub was filthy. The temperate pool was really nice. The indoor/outdoor hot tub was out of order.

Over we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor rink and a quick hike with relaxing views. Our 6yo daughter enjoyed the pool. The rooms were showing their age, with peeling wallpaper, and no hot water. We did bring up the hot water issue with the front desk , which they resolved with a complimentary dessert from the hotel restaurant .

My stay at Hecla Resort was a pleasant one. The room was clean and the resort was also kept keep at all time. There was an heating situation in the restaurant. I only wished that the situation was communicated during arrival.
