"Sheets were dirty. No towels. Boiler hatch didn't close in bathroom and boiler didn't work anyway. No WiFi in the room. We were told to go to the second floor and sit in the corridor for WiFi ! Breakfast was very basic. Front desk staff didn't seem bothered. Got moved to another room eventually. But not good. Still no WiFi. Other people we talked to at breakfast were having the same problems. Go somewhere else."

"Excellent Guest House run by very friendly and helpful people, Breakfast is eaten in your room and you can negotiate whatever you want. Poori Subji was my favourite. The hosts will help you arrange transport for whatever you need to do in Ranchi. The rooms are fine, but the bathroom / toilet area is very small. There is some building work going on close by so it can get a little noisy at times. There is a fine restaurant / Bar called Oona's about 800 metres walk down the road which is an excellent place for Dinner. "

"I booked this hotel through expedia. The worker at hotel said expedia never sent money to hotel. I called Expedia twice then finally I had to cancel with Expedia and book again in person at hotel. Property is like Dhrmashala with modern toilet. Biggest plus was Shivkumar who handels the property there, made best food as per our request, like pavbhaji, paratha mixed vegetables, pulav and kadhi. He even got us the ice cream per our request. So excellent service by Shivkumar."
