"AC and Heat didnt work in the room. Front desk said someone would come by to fix it. They never did. I had to ask the front desk again the next day. It was freezing all night without the heat. My Moms room next door had mold. And house keeping left the dirty rag they use to clean with on the night stand. Very poor attention to cleaning. My second time staying here and I find mold in my room. There was mold the first time as well. This wil be my last time staying here. "

"We stayed in the Overlook room, very quiet and bed/bedding was so comfortable. I wish I remembered the name of the staff person who helped us, he does it all! He checked us is, showed us around and even made cocktails and dinner suggestions. The property is beautiful. "

"Please read before reserving. This property was extremely dirty in all common areas, hallways, elevators and even the room itself. The floor in the room I know had not been cleaned since I spilled some water & wiped up with a rag & it was dark brown. The light switches and walls had stuff all over them. The rooms are not insulated at all since you could hear everything in the hallways even people yelling & slamming doors at 1:30am. The bathroom faucet leaked & spilled over the vanity. Bed was very uncomfortable. If this Avid hotel represents the quality of the chain I will never stay at one of their hotels again. Sadly I read the reviews & none of these were mentioned. If we had not arrived late in the evening I would of left & requested a refund. Also mention the lobby floors needed cleaning & garbage cans were overflowing with trash. Will end with one nice comment the coffee was good."

"The room is very outdated, bathroom door knob missing & no lock. Drad bolt on entry door to room would not engagr. One of the back door entries door did not completely close & latch so anyone could come & ho without using a room key for saftey reasons. Halls smelled of weed & the place was supposed to be non smoking. "

"Our room wasn’t ready until 4:30 pm, furthermore we had a handicapped bathroom that had mold on the shower chair and under the soap dish in the shower. The reception was fine. She was the only bright spot. "
