"The property is set in a very quiet and peaceful location with beautiful gardens. The owner clearly spends time and effort on the grounds however, we were disappointed by the lack of privacy in our room, it being directly adjacent to the breakfast room with all the accompanying intrusive noise.We were warned the previous evening by the proprietor that this was likely altho we did not realise it would be quite so loud. "We loved this little oasis. The owners have done an amazing job of creating a special place that has everything you need. We were driving from Taupo to Napier and stopped for the night. They have lawn tennis, a full spa, swimming pool and an amazing restaurant not to be missed. Don’t bother going back into Napier for dinner. Stay here. They have an incredible wine selection and it’s been one of the highlights of the trip so far. "
