We paid extra for a river view room, but were very disappointed to find a scaffolding tower to the side of our balcony blocking half the view. The room was set back from the front of the hotel and so the remaining view was limited (Room 501). We asked to move, the staff were very accommodating, but it would have to be next day as they were full. When we got back from our day out and went to the new room, we were not impressed. "Our stay here was fantastic. It is in a remote area but a good base to explore from. The drive and the views all around are spectacular. Its a lovely area of Germany.
The hotel staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Thank you David for some great suggestions of places to visit.

There is an amazing spa a short walk from the hotel which a real treat at the end of a day exploring.
