For the rates charged the hotel should be kept up to date and remodeled. Also $5 for a muffin and $4 for a soda is outrageous

This is a fairly typical hotel, nothing too exciting. However, check in was at 3, and of course there was a line (3 weddings using the same hotel for arrangements). Extremely slow check in with only one staff working, and was told the room may not be ready yet. Add in that at checkout (which we did an hour early to avoid lines), there was one staff working and a ridiculously long line. The staff were very friendly, especially the woman on the night shift, but they were clearly understaffed.

House keeping never came during our two day stay. There was a non identifying broken door that slammed on my boyfriend’s hand and he ended up getting a 2 inch laceration on his finger receiving 4 stitches. There was a faulty fan in the basement that was smoking burning plastic and at 4 AM the fire alarm was triggered and the fire department did not come for 45 minutes.

It was a nice enough room and seemed clean however there were a couple of stains on the sofa arm rest and ottoman. Breakfast is not supplied. For the rate they charge it is way overpriced. I have booked similar rooms for around half of the cost AND breakfast was included. I would assume it is the area.

Can’t believe this is a Marriott hotel. I have traveled to over 70 countries and stayed at many Marriott hotels over the years. This hotel is the absolute worst one I’ve ever stayed at. Rating 2 stars because I was given a refund. The front desk was not friendly or ever available when I tried to call 6X. I specifically asked for a room with a lot of sunlight since I have terrible allergies to dust and mildew/mold. Sunlight really makes a difference for my allergies. I was given a really dark room with a bathroom that was covered in mildew and mold. I didn’t get any sleep from the horrible smell and itchy eyes/skin. Someone from the hotel staff claimed the black stains in the toilet and shower were from hard water. Hard water definitely does not cause black stains and the gag-worthy smell. Definitely do not recommend this hotel.
