The room was bice, bed was comfy! Pool was small but still enjoyed it! Just wish there was a hottub!! Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back

Nice, clean hotel in downtown area.
Newer, downtown hotel. Within walking distance to Main Street shops & restaurants. Walking distance to library, Schauer theater, Mineshaft Restaurant & coffee shops, etc. The breakfast is not served until 7am, so fishermen & snowmobilers should plan accordingly. The place is very clean, but the sportsmen track in mud clods & they evidently don't have anyone to clean them up.

Terrible stay
We did not get the suite that we reserved. Instead we got a king room. When I inquired at the front desk, the woman was very unapologetic and did nothing to rectify the situation. She simply named hotels.com and stated that they overbook certain rooms all the time that are not available. Completely unacceptable

Facility is clean and welcoming. Room was large, beds nicely firm, linens and towels very nice. Very little noise from hallways or outside traffic. One thing the facility needs to do is install grab bars in the tub/shower, as the tub is slippery and you have to lift your leg up to enter and exit. I am 5'6" and my husband is 5'9' and both of us felt the tub was not very safe to shower in. All else was good. Did not use the pool, which is a bit small.

Good Hotel in Historic Hartford, Wisconsin
Excellent hotel and Chop House restaurant. The staff was very helpful and considerate, especially the General Manager,Tina, who had her hands full with staff out sick. She was everywhere helping out. It was a perfect location in Hartford for visiting the History Room at the local library and seeing the historic town sites. Across the way was also a fun arcade and eating place. Good food. Good times.

Always a great stay at the cobblestone. One thing that always shocks me is they only have one elevator. But clean hotel, breakfast included. Small gym and pool for use

Public areas of hotel were very clean and welcoming. Complementary breakfast was better than usual for a hotel! Only a few downsides: we had a pull out couch we needed to use (3 people, no 2 queen rooms available) and when we pulled out the couch it was clearly dirty (crumbs etc) and there were barely any sheets in the room to use on the pull out. One of our lights was nearly burnt out/flashing every once in a while? And lastly, there was a very loud constant "fan" noise that we weren't sure where it was coming from (possibly the roof as we were on the 4th floor?), but it shook the whole room and was constantly shaking something metal in the wall AC unit. It was very loud and made for less than ideal sleeping.

Be sure and check rules for check-in times
The hotel was clean and rooms comfortable. A bit pricey, in my opinion, for what it offered. We were 45 minutes early for a 3:00 check-in and the associate told us she could not check us in early without getting in trouble from her manager. That would have been ok, but we had to catch a 3:10 shuttle to a wedding venue and needed a little more time to freshen up, dress and catch the shuttle. She did let us check in at 10 ‘til 3:00, but if we had needed more time to get ready, we would have missed that shuttle. I understand they have check-in and check out times, but we left by 8:30 the next morning so we didn’t overstay. Sometimes it’s helpful for concessions to be made given certain circumstances.

Very nice hotel. Just a couple of nitpicks. One the security safe in the room would not work but desk crew said maintenance would fix. Would be nice to have a rubber bathmat in shower, shower has slick bottom and with the soft soapy water can get pretty slippery.

Not bad - not good.
The staff was friendly and helpful when we had an issue with the TV. The breakfast was OK but not very warm. The wastebasket in the bathroom had not been emptied. We paid an extra $35 a night to stay at a better motel than we had on previous visits to Hartford but I don't think it was worth it. Not likely that we will return.

Won't stay again.
Most uncomfortable bed in history, pool heater broken and no one knew how to fix it, hotel charged for night even though was prepaid through Hotels.com, then was unsure how to fix it, and ended up placing second charge on credit card. Not sure yet if charges will drop, have to wait. not worth the money spent. Would not stay again.
