"Breakfast was really nice and fresh.
Parking is tight and £15 per night for guests.
No air con in rooms so they get very warm.
We were above the pub entrance area on the 2nd floor so noisy around 7am.
In a great location for the centre of Harrogate and would stay again and ask for a room on the front where it’s likely to be less noisy"
"Very helpful staff, got some help in charging the EV in the private parking lot. Room was clean, new bathroom. Opening windows gave some traffic noise, but at night it was way below disturbing level.
Just 5 mins away from a choice of restaurants and the shopping area."
"Very good hotel within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Harrogate. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the main menu looked really good and the bar area was large and inviting. There is also an outdoor bar area at the rear of the hotel which was lovely. Only issue is parking - there is a multi storey car park at the rear of the hotel but the purchasing arrangements are not very well displayed. You need to purchase a ticket on entry and not pay when you leave"
DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa
6/10 Okay
"Disappointed unfortunately. Blood stain on mattress protector and although the bedroom was large, the furniture was shabby and in need of replacement. The spa area was tired. Some of the grout needs replacing. One member of breakfast staff was really stolen could not even crack a smile. My husband ordered some champagne to the room as a birthday surprise but despite 2 Reminders they still did not bring it. This was probably a nice hotel once unfortunately now not great."
