"Clean room. Very close to Appalachian trail, close to park information center, shuttle service to lower town. NO elevator, so stairs were hard for us carrying luggage. Desk clerk helped which was wonderful. Being so close to everything & being able to have a 1st floor room. Would definitely stay their again. We r in r 80's. Stairs r hard , but managed parr of the trail"

I was so happy to see that it is pet friendly. My only complaint was that guests left their dogs in their rooms while they were out. I heard a few dogs that were clearly distressed at being left alone. As a dog owner, it really upset me. The guests should be required to not leave their pets alone."
