"After an awkward initial conversation with my host caused by poor communication through hotels.com, and me arriving at a slightly inconvenient time, everything worked out fine. The apartment is a little dated but has everything you need. There is no parking on site but on street parking is available nearby (up the hill!) and very well connected by frequent buses into the centre of the beautiful old town. What a beautiful place to stay, an old convent, peaceful surroundings. There are no staff, however everything is easy to find, coffee machine, tea’s, a fridge full of drinks in the main entrance. (Honesty box) Three minute walk to the Lindhoffer Gaststätte for a typical German breakfast, plenty of Coffee etc. We ate there in the evening, the rump steak was delicious and tender, other options were superb. It’s not the Hilton ok !!! , but it’s a truly comfortable and cosy experience. Enjoy x
