I did not leave the hotel as I went for time out to just chill out and do nothing
The Hotel is a little way out of Hailsham, being on the A22 meant it was very easy to go out and about from there. We also visited the Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne which was excellent and had a fabulous day at Brighton Races.
Busy roads but travelling from a very rural location any traffic is busy!!
Lots of second hand shops, good bus service, two coffee shops
Stay at the Travel Lodge across the road instead
