This is a great hotel right opposite the ferry landing in Melbu. Wonderful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable bedroom, with blackout curtains, kettle, and good ensuite bathroom. Great buffet breakfast. Good hiking on the doorstep and a great base to travel further afield.

As I arrived very late, I got the worst room in the hotel. I was exhausted with very painful legs, but I had to walk at the far extreme of the building up and down several stairs. It would have been a total nightmare without the help of the receptionist who carried my suitcase the all way from my car to my room. Aren't there rules for hotels in order to host disabled people?

Frokosten var dårlig. På to av tre morgener måtte vi spørre om glutenfritt brød. Den ene sa han bare det var tomt, på andre dagen sprang hun å kjøpte. Det var ikke alltid kokte egg, og speileggene virket som om de hadde vært ute siden 7 på morningen (det var vanskelig å skjære og bite gjennom dem). I tillegg var det meste tomt hele tiden, så frokosten var skikkelig skuffende. Det var også full fest i resepsjonsområde til langt på natt. Det var ikke for ille på rommene, men no støy ble det.

Vid frukosten var det ett stort sällskap samtidigt som oss. Frukosten var bra men vi var många och den ansvariga för att plocka fram mera och fylla på hade ingen koll överhuvudtaget. Inget av det som var slut blev påfyllt utan att någon gäst bad om det.

Super avulias ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Huone ja sänky oli siisti ja hyvä. Saimme eväämme kylmäsäilytykseen, vaikka myös huoneessa oli minijääkaappi. Sijainti lauttarannassa loistava. Aamiainen tosi maukas ja monipuolinen, upea, aivan tuore graavilohi viereisestä kalafirmasta. Ihana fiilis jäi, vaikka vain yhden yön yövyimme, lämpimästi suosittelen.

Alles war sauber, Hotel als solches und auch das Zimmer. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück, die Spiegeleier hervorragend. Nur ausländische Saisonarbeitskräfte vor Ort. Der Eingangsbereich zum Hotel müsste gekehrt und gesäubert werden.

Generelt slitt! Kom kl 17 da var ikke rommet klart. Hullete ‘kontorstol’ på ene rommet. Trangt. Ingen plass til koffert. Ingen kjøleskap. Måtte vente på bord. Lite mat til middag. Seigt kjøtt på ene porsjon. Tomt på flere fat til frokost. Lite påfyll. Ikke rydda bord. Ingen vask av bord. Ikke nok bestikk v frokost.

Kom, men ikke forvent middag!

Greit rom selv om vi ikke fikk dobbelseng. Det var såvidt vi fikk spise middag der pga et busslass med tyskere som kom til middag. Vi ble bedt om å komme tilbake kl 1930 men så ropte kjøkkenpersonalet om at vi kunne få spise lell hvis vi bestemte oss fort hva vi ville spise. Restauranten var kjedelig og alt for liten.

Olimme 2 yötä, ja ne sujuivat erittäin hyvin. Henkilökunta oli palveluhenkistä ja ongelmanratkaisukyky heillä oli erittäin hyvä. Hotelli on lauttasatamassa, joten ei välttämättä erityisen idyllinen, mutta erittäin käytännöllinen. Huoneet olivat tilavia ja siistejä.
