Great customer service. The breakfast was good and has different options on a daily basis with desserts. The only downside is the bedroom door to the balcony was left unlocked overnight and also the pillows were not clean inside and should have been cleaned. Overall, I had a great experience staying at the Hotel Golf Coast and would highly recommand it to anyone.

My worst experienced was related to the lack of honesty of people working at the hotel. I tried to book a transfer through them and they changed price from $100 until $250 in just 24 hours. Thanks to them, I couldn´t visit almost nothing in Kinshasa. Thus, breakfast is quite limited and do not have too many available options. One of the ladies at breakfast was really unpolite and threated customers very rude. Only the people in room services, housekeepers, waiters and other were nice. About rooms, they are very good and normal, enough to sleep but with no good quality price relationship

Some Experience

This Hotel is only good for looks, service was poor beyond, when you order food, its take over an hr to receive it, and some might say its down to preparation, I kid you not when I say even to get a bottle of drink takes 45 mins to receive all because the waiters are either chatting away and laughing or walking nonchalantly to serve you, and when you question them the give you attitude. We even got the wrong food we ordered and on top of it all food poisoning from a Fish we ordered don't know id its gone off or what. Receptionist laughed in my face when I questioned why I was waiting for 30 mins for my room to get ready when I had booked 6 days in advance. So if you choose this hotel, you are in for some experience alright.

balanced: ⸻ My stay at the Gaolf Hotel was overall very good. The location is excellent, the property is beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff working in the restaurant and bar — both the ladies and the gentlemen — were amazing. They were very friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. However, I was disappointed with the reception service. I arrived on 1st February 2026 between 15:00 and 17:00. There were two receptionists at the desk. I greeted them three times, but neither of them responded. It was only after I said, “I’m greeting you, but no one is responding,” that they reacted — and even then, it felt like a forced smile. This was very strange and disappointing, as first impressions are very important. That said, there was one gentleman at reception who spoke English (I believe he mentioned he had been in South Africa before). Unfortunately, I forgot his name, but he was very professional and welcoming. Credit to him for his excellent service. I stayed from 1st February until 13th February. I would also like to mention that more attention should be given to the bed linen and bedding. It seemed as though the sheets were not always properly changed, but rather just adjusted or fixed. I spoke with housekeeping several times regarding the bedding equipment, and I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration. There was also an incident one night in the kitchen. I ordered beans and rice, but the food was not good and tasted off, so I

Personalen och servicen var under all kritik. Jag blev väckt en morgon av att en personal ville ha strykjärnet jag lånade dagen innan. 6:30 på morgonen. Förutom det var frukostbuffén ohygienisk, mycket av det som stod i menyn fanns inte, språkförbistringar och en hotellmsnager som gapade och skrek på personalen öppet i receptionen. Det sämsta hotellet jag bott på.

Une hyper belle trouvaille ! La localisation de l’hôtel est juste magnifique. Le rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel en centre ville est un plus non négligeable. En axe d’amélioration pour les familles, je proposerai de faire une piscine pour enfant car la piscine est de minimum 1,60 m. Toutefois, je recommande fortement !

Les chambres réservées correspondent aux photos. Elles sont de grandes tailles. La literie est agréable. La chambre est bien insonorisée. La salle d'eaux est de bonne dimension. Le petit-déjeuner compris dans le séjour est généreux. Les chambres sont régulièrement nettoyées. Cependant, il faudrait que les serviettes soient changées régulièrement et en prennant en compte le nombre exacte de personne dans la chambre. Le personnel est disponible.

Points positifs : -taille de la chambre et de la salle de bain, spacieuses - très bonne pression d'eau dans la salle de bains - lits confortables Points négatifs : - beaucoup de moustiques et pas de moustiquaire dans la chambre, prévoyez votre propre spray - lampe cassée signalée au check-in mais jamais remplacée - débit du wifi quasi nul (0,5 Mb/s) - salle de restauration un brin sinistre, pareil pour la salle de sport - piscine verte donc inutilisable - carte de restaurant très fournie, mais très peu de plats sont réellement disponibles
