Gwynne Valley Ski Area

Knew it was basic for amenities, but this is a motel, not a hotel as represented in the description. Very sparse amenities, and desk only available from 2:30-10:30 pm during our stay. While it worked fine for us, there is no noise blocking AT ALL. If you have trouble sleeping or it’s busy season and you need a quiet place, I’d skip this one. No elevators, so if you have any issues with stairs request the first floor. It was fine, but don’t think I’d use a Base Camp property in the future if I can avoid it. Reviews made it sound nicer than what it is. It was pretty clean and the bed wasn’t too bad, so that was a plus.

Our stay at Moose Hotel & Suites was nothing short of wonderful! The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from all the shops, restaurants, and attractions in downtown Banff, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The front desk team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. We also appreciated the complimentary parking, which was a huge convenience in Banff. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with exceptional service, we highly recommend Moose Hotel & Suites. We truly loved our stay and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Banff!
