This was our first family vacation with our grandbaby. While it was a great time and a great place, there was room for improvement. We stayed on the first floor. It was very noisy with people coming into their rooms at night. We could also hear people in nearby rooms. One night, there was a huge group of people in the lobby of the first floor that was having a baby shower at 10pm!!! They were very loud. I felt as if there was needed "security" to check all buildings to see that all was well. Other than that, it was a great time. It is the perfect place to bring kids and have a family vacation.

We stayed in the building close to the pool area and it was very convenient. Parking was easy and mostly close by. There is a nice area to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’re able to order by the pool and have it delivered to you. There is a snack shop that also serves adult beverages. There is a small arcade for the kids. The whole place seemed very safe especially by the pool area. Our kids were able to go around on their own because you can see around the entire area. There is also plenty of staff around the pool area and someone watching the gate 24/7. Our items stayed by the chairs and no one fooled with them. The lazy river was the perfect area to relax. There is a swim up bar where you can get alcohol beverages or nonalcoholic. You can also charge everything to your room, if you choose not to carry money/cards on you.

This was our 3rd summer staying and playing at the Oasis. Our family enjoys the pool, lazy river and slides. My only complaint would be the $25 per hour early check in fee. Check in is at 4:00 pm. So even a minute before check in means $25 extra. In the past we were able to check in 1-2 hours early..

On property was lovely, affordable restaurant, great staff, great pool with a swim-up bar. However, you NEED a car to do anything else outside the resort, the area is not very walkable.

Pool area was very nice. Room floors were very dirty. Had to wear socks to not end up with dirt and grime on bottom of feet. Woke up and everyone had stuffy noses. Realized the air filters were coated with dust. They were up high so couldn’t access ourself.

We picked this property so I could have a day by the pool. When we went to the pool we were told we couldn’t go in because our bands were not correct color. Told them at check out and they still charged resort fees even though we didn’t get to use them! This was whole reason we stayed here! Very disappointed! Shouldn’t be able to charge you for services you were denied!

I didn't like the fact checking in wasn't in the same building as the Hotel.I feel bad for the elders traveling due to parking and lots of walking then once you get settle what energy you have left to enjoy the other amenitites.Nothing wasn't explain about eating in the area.I had to travel 30 miles from the facility to eat.No one explained about the anything as far as eating their on they property. i will not be coming back there again. i did enjoyed the lazy pool it was nice.

Gorgeous property that was a military base and since done up beatifully with a lit water show upon evening entry. On the downside, our room smelled musty and I attribute it to the lack of bathroom fan. There is nowhere for steam from the shower to vent and I've seen quite a bit of this in newer hotels for some reason unbeknown to me.

pros: water ground park - kids absolutely loved, i even enjoyed sitting out there, kids stated pizza from Sweet Shack was good, very clean property as pertaining to the grounds of the facility cons: room smelled wet, carpet in room definitely needs a good shampooing, rooms were not as clean - hair from the previous guests were still all over bathroom, bathroom molded and stained, including shower …standard queen room is very small, water bottles included in resort fee but were only given 2…served it’s purpose for a 1 night stay with no other available options in the area - but won’t be back!

Exceptional is all that I can say. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable, did I say clean? 😃 So much for kids to do, will bring my 11 y/o for his bday weekend. I will refer and recommend this resort to everyone I know. Great music in hallways but can’t hear it in bedrooms. Kids were heard only once in hallway, rooms must be sound proof. The grounds were clean, manicured, resort is right across from the beach and that area is quiet. Again, thanks for a great experience everyone.

The property is nice but they do not honor room types as booked. We had reserved a pool view room and our room had NO view at all. When I called the front desk about it all they said was sorry, we are busy and we don’t honor room types on reservations when we are full. If that is the case then room types shouldn’t be offered as options to reserve! The reservation systems on both Expedia and directly through the resort tells you how many rooms of each type they have left when you reserve it so I don’t understand how they don’t have the room type available when you arrive. They offered absolutely nothing for their error other than a “sorry nothing we can do - next time try calling the day ahead to see if we have that room type and maybe we’ll be able to honor it.”. So we were stuck in a dark room with no view. Thankfully we were only there for 1 day. Would have chosen a cheaper hotel option if I had known they would not honor the room type.

It was quite not much people but water temp was in the mid 50s , expected for that time of the year. Great place for kids to have a water park at your hotel. I will definitely return in the summer with my granddaughter.

We booked this trip last minute, literally booked it while driving down. Check in was easy, our room keys wouldn’t work when we first tried them, call front desk and they sent security right over with new cards. Rooms were spacious and clean. Water park /pool area was good. Plenty of seating and activities for the kiddos. There is a sweet shop where you can get pizza, drinks, and ice cream. Our only issue we had was there are no vending machines. Due to our drive, we got them after everything was closed and couldn’t get anything to drink into the restaurants opened the next morning without leaving the resort.
