"Lovely hotel in the heart of Lamezia. Near the action but tucked slightly off the Main Street so it was quiet. Great little kitchen to make our own breakfast. Self check in process was tricky, but we had assistance live on WhatsApp, so after a few challenges, got in. Would recommend San Carlo if you are going to Lamezia. "

"A very peaceful spot, with a wonderful pool and excellent restaurant. A number of different acomodation buildings. We stayed four nights and thought it was excellent. The site appears to regularly host parties, eg birthdays etc for large numbers of people. Seems to be v popular with locals. The peace is sometimes disturbed by hoards of visiting children using the pool. They rarely stayed more than an hour. "Very charming property! The host, Carmen, was lovely and she was very organized and very helpful. You will need a vehicle if you choose to stay here. We chose to stay here because we thought it would be quiet. Unfortunately, at around 6:30am some guests were walking around and speaking loudly as if they were in their own home. There was also construction going on directly outside our window at 7am. We would give it another try if we were in Catanzaro again."
