We got an upgrade to a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed our stay. We ate dinner at the hotel. The food was really good. We stayed only one night.

The staff were friendly and welcoming on my arrival. I booked a double deluxe room and was given the largest room on arrival. It was clean, quiet and very spacious for one person. I slept very well during my stay as the bed was extremely comfortable. The gardens are well maintained and spacious and the area around the pool is a haven of tranquility. The location of the property is one of the main features. Right in the heart of Amalfi without having to climb any of the narrow staircase alleys. The property is also very well maintained and clean. The only thing we didn't like about our room is that there wasn't a window facing outside. So I'd enquire about it before booking.

This hotel should be a 4 star... even though this hotel doesn’t have a pool and spa facilities, you CANNOT fault this hotel. Lovely hotel, great spot for getting to/from naples airport - about 35euro in a taxi/20mins drive (much quicker than any central naples hotels). It was a perfect "last day" spot for me, after a week on the amalfi and wanting a hassel-free early morning transfer. Very nice Hotel, easy walk to Town square, railway station restaurants and bars. Stunning views ,staff polite courteous ,friendly and helpful,nothing is too much trouble. The simple white interiors reflect the ancient history of this old monastery, now a top quality hotel perched on the side of the cliffs, overlooking Amalfi and the sea. Spectacular views and wonderful service! Regrets that the 'infinity pool' is only open from May to September, note that this is not mentioned on their website.

We loved this hotel and were delighted when we saw our room. Although the decor is simple and unfussy, the colours are just gorgeous and little touches make it so pretty. All rooms have balconies looking towards the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius and Ischia the dominant features - and overlooks the harbour of Seiano. Beautiful property, staff extremely helpful in all aspects. Several weddings took place whilst we were there but they had no impact on our stay and rooms are extremely well soundproofed so no disturbances from the weddings at all.
