We got an upgrade to a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed our stay. We ate dinner at the hotel. The food was really good. We stayed only one night.

The simple white interiors reflect the ancient history of this old monastery, now a top quality hotel perched on the side of the cliffs, overlooking Amalfi and the sea. Spectacular views and wonderful service! Regrets that the 'infinity pool' is only open from May to September, note that this is not mentioned on their website.

Hotel is wonderful, location is excellent, staff and service perfect. Every room has great views over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius, and also down the cliff to the marina grande below. Rooms are large and airy, with huge windows. All spotlessly clean, and cleaned thoroughly every day. The choice is yours in this beautiful location in Italy.You may visit the area by train,bus or sea from Sorrento.There are Roman ruins,beautiful coastal villages,Capri for the day.Or just strolling the lanes admiring the views and stopping for coffee.Will return to continue exploring this beautiful part of the coast as soon as possible.

The room is just beautiful, the view is spectacular and the service matches its perfection. The view from our balcony was just stunning, the location right at the front of the port was perfect for travelling around and the service and breakfast was exceptional. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay,

I find some hotels in this bracket a bit pretentious, but that wasn't the case here. The manager (I assume) was really friendly when we checked in and made us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff were very friendly too. The large roof terrace has a nice bar and fantastic views towards Vesuvius. There is also a nice ground floor bar with roadside terrace. This Hotel is situated on the Piazza Della Vitoria with great sea views across to mount vesuvius be sure to get ask for a suite as they are corner rooms and look out across the bay of Naples. The hotel was wonderful, the grounds and inside beautiful all facilities were superb. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choice and all waiters really took care and looked after us. We stayed here at Villa Yiara for 4 nights. It is a lovely bnb with stunning views of Positano, and such a great price. We had room number 1, with a jet shower (not jacuzzi bath) and a balcony.
