It is a great hotel. We stayed 12 nights and were upgraded. The staff is nice and helps with the requests. This hotel is a walking proximity to the most beautiful museum of the USA and to Sarasota Airport. Breakfast choices were limited and didn't change during our stay. No health food options.

The room was excellent in all aspects.We were there to celebrate my 60th birthday. Our only problem was not being able to turn off the AC in our room. My mother was sadly taken ill on the 25th & was admitted to Sarasota Memorial for 36 hrs. I informed reception evening of 25th that our room would be empty that night. I was v disappointed that on our return no one showed any interest in my mother’s welfare. We also checked out of the hotel one day earlier than planned.

room was clean, staff was exceptional. when we got off the elevator to our floor there was a bad smell that was there our entire stay. cleaner mixed with a funk. the pool area and hay tub leaves a lot to be desired but for a night or two it's a great choice.
