"Overall, the resort was very nice, clean, and well-maintained, and I genuinely enjoyed my visit. However, I did experience an issue with transportation and the customer service provided through Expedia that negatively impacted my experience. I booked my stay through a third party, Expedia, which I have used several times in the past without any issues. Prior to my trip, I contacted the resort regarding transportation and was informed through Expedia that transportation to and from the airport had been granted for my party. I was also instructed that there would be a shuttle available. However, the link provided to arrange the shuttle did not work, and the WhatsApp contact provided was also unsuccessful. While at the resort, I went to speak with the Expedia customer service representative to seek assistance with the transportation issue. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with was very rude, dismissive, and short with both me and my party. She repeatedly stated, “When you travel, you address the problem the day of,” and continued repeating that we should have come to see her on the day we arrived. I understand that there may have been a specific process that needed to be followed, and I would have been more than willing to address the issue sooner if I had been aware of that requirement. However, the representative’s tone, body language, and overall manner of communication were inappropriate and made me and my party feel uncomfortable and unwelcome."

"Here’s my honest review of Atelier Playa Mujeres after staying there for about five or six days. Overall, I had a good experience, but there are a few things you should know before booking. The dinners were absolutely amazing and definitely one of the best parts of the hotel. However, I found the lunch options much more average. One day, I had short ribs from the bar near the Relaxing Pool, and afterwards, I got really sick and threw up several times. I can’t say for sure it was because of the food, so I don’t want to blame the hotel — I’m simply sharing my personal experience. The evening entertainment was good, but don’t expect anything extraordinary every night. The shows were enjoyable but fairly standard. The beach also wasn’t my favorite part. During our stay, there was quite a lot of seaweed, and the water wasn’t very clear. If fully enjoying the ocean is your main priority, just manage your expectations. One thing that surprised me was being told to change in the restroom before check-in. For a hotel at this price point, I don’t think that makes sense. We also paid for a late check-out until 4 PM, but our room wasn’t cleaned and we didn’t receive fresh towels. We called a couple of times, but no one came, and eventually had to find someone in the hallway and ask for towels. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, especially the dinners, but for the price, some details could definitely be handled better."
