"We were traveling around the Cancun and Tulum Area for a conference and visiting family and needed to stay in Playa Del Carmen for 1 night to end our trip and we choose Ocean Riviera Paradise hotel. The hotel opened up with waterfalls and check in was smooth. They offer precheck in as well. I love how some of the rooms on the first floor can walked out into the pool. Each room seems to come with a hanging egg chair which my toddler loved swinging in. The room comes with a regular size tub that turns into a jacuzzi. The international buffet was great with different options for you to choose from. This hotel have such a great kid pool area. My toddler enjoyed it so much. Next to the kid pools area is also a small playground which was nice. Not many hotels have that. What made our stayed truly amazing was the customer service from Irving from guest services. The minute we had an issue, he was at our door asking us what he can do to help. He helped us made a reservation for the steakhouse when there was no slots left. Steakhouse was great by the way. He helped us with a late check out since we had a late flight. I truly appreciate his care for us. The hotel is very lucky to have Irving who knows how to show hospitality. This is a great family resort that I would go back to."

"I gave this stay a five star because for the price it was as expected and priced right. The property shows some wear but it’s expected. The room was comfortable, clean, bed comfy, excellent view. The food was again, as expected. Breakfast was great. There are many options. Love that sit down restaurants are first come. No reservations. We found the staff at the buffet to be by far, the friendliest and their service was outstanding. Moises is amazing.the food options are typical. Lots of fresh fruit, juices, eggs dishes. We rented the cabanas on the beach. Worth every penny. You have them all day. The sargasso was everywhere but that’s out of their control. The water was more clear in afternoon. The drinks were great coffee shop was awesome. Open 24hrs. . Don’t expect entertainment to blow you away. We came for a relaxing long weekend. It was wonderful. Only negative was the spa staff is too aggressive. They should have salt and pepper on dining tables. You have to ask for it."

"Everything was great with this resort. The only thing we didnt like was the staff asking to do the timeshare and bugging to do excursions. Don’t order the wrap on room service either it was just melted cheese when it says it has all these other things in it"
