"This is a high-volume hotel that feels “tired” and overdue for renovation, aside from a few areas like the conference section. The hallways are dim, carpeting is worn, elevator buttons don’t light up, etc. Despite charging a $35 resort fee, if you want to actually "beach it" for a few hours, a beach chair comes with a $29 rental fee. In our room, the outlets were loose and unreliable for charging, and the toilet continued running for a couple of minutes after flushing. There was no hair dryer (we did get one), and the bathroom didn’t feel particularly clean, with a stained vanity. It's overpriced and dated.
On the positive side, the gym is bright and well-equipped, though it needs better ventilation —it was uncomfortably hot. The staff, however, were friendly and professional. I'm not a Starbucks fan so I was delighted there was a Dunkin directly across the street that opened at 5:30 am."
