We really enjoy the staying at Sofitel. Only the drive way to the entrance is a little too narrow. Sometimes the car has to wait to get to the entrance.

A very nice hotel. We had a pleasant and peaceful stay for 3 days. The hotel is clean and modern with good amenities and conveniently located on top of a large shopping mall and at a location where it is quite easy to get a taxi. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would have given the place a higher rating except that I had prearranged to pay for our stay in local currency. Instead the hotel charged our stay to our credit card used for deposit at the time of check-in, causing some confusion.

It is not a place that easy to get a taxi, I asked the staff to help me call taxi. They are so nice and enthusiastic. Everything is not bad but the most disappointing me is that the pillows are smelly. I wonder the staffs did not change the pillows after the last customers have used them or the pillowcase was not dried enough by the clothes dryer.

Fantastic room!

The room was spectacular with the "bathroom balcony" offering a great view of the city no matter what you were doing. Everything in the room bore the mark of excellent quality, maybe not quite Tokyo Hilton levels, but not far off. The shower drain was blocked which caused water to run out over the whole "balcony" but a quick call and that was sorted in no time. Great service from all the staff! The sky lobby on the 55th floor offers a great view, especially fun to look down on the roof of the Kempinski hotel next door.

Stayed three days in club suite room. Good: New hotel opened early 2017, with technology like motorized curtain, bidet and central control with ipad. Hotel starts from 40th (?) floor, so good view. Business lounge on 53rd floor serves beverages and deserts all day long, Ms. Peng (Pen?) Yi and Tian Jing was super nice and kept my kid entertained. Take-out breakfast can be prepared if you leave before breakfast starts. Staff in general is professional and helpful. Improve: Pool was closed at the time, business lounge manager Ms. Peng (Pen?) Yi offered my family to use the pool in nearby Sheraton, we appreciated that. A/C can't keep the room cool, regardless what temp was set. It wasn't an issue in the beginning of my stay, but the last day was terrible enough that I have to complaint. It wasn't addressed before I left. I can't find a wall clock anywhere in my club room! Shower head is angled toward the door, so lots of water was leaked outside. Adjusting angle is not easy as hose is stiff. In general, it is a pretty good hotel and I would consider to stay there next time.
