The ocean view is absolutely killer, nothing better than spending the whole trip listening to the sound of the ocean. Breakfast was amazing, also the best cup of coffee I’ve had the whole trip. "I had the misfortune to arrive by bus from Managua on a rainy day. I thus had difficulty in finding the Hostal. When I did, at aout 7 pm, the person at the reception did not even ask to identify me, and I was led to a room with a window giving on the corridor, a small old sink giving only a tiny fillet or water, etc. Only cold water, but that seems to be general in San Juan. I eventually got used to all these "perks"..."

"The staff was friendly and tended to our concerns promptly. Unfortunately, there were many issues. Biggest one was that as of about midnight, we had no water. When I reported it in the morning, they fixed it right away. Minor issue was the TV remote power button didn’t work. They give you one bath towel per guest. The rest of it is a paper towel dispenser like in a public rest room. Not terrible but very unusual. I had to ask for shampoo, and they gave me three little plastic bags that they...

"The resort was spectacular. The pools were fun. The grounds were beautiful. The restaurant was just okay. We had a better selection and dramatically lower prices in town. We only had hot water one of the three days we were there. The private beach was very nice."

"I love this house is my favorite in san juan del sur. The view is stunning. The house is super clean, comfortable, cleaned and spacious. The kitchen area outside in the second floor terrace is to die for with an infinity pool right next to it and beach louge chairs and the most amaxing view of the san juan del sur bay. The staff is super courteous, friendly and professional. I will totally recommend this house to angone staying in san juan del sur Nicaragua while they vacation here. 🙏👌"
