"The Old Post office was a large guesthouse very close to the Kirkjufell waterfall and mountai. The mountain was well seen from the guesthouse. The rooms were quite large, with private bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small but ok for a simple meal. The whole place was very clean. We liked staying there."

Dis Cottages

Dis Cottages

8/10 Good
"It’s a lovely location but they really need to address the shower situation. The bathroom is like a RV wet bathroom. The shower area has no lip / curb to prevent water from being all over the bathroom floor which is exactly what happens. The room was comfortable enough. The amenities ok. The setting is great and the view from the room is wonderful. All in all it’s a good if not best option. The shower situation which owners must know about (as they keep a giant squeegee in the bathroom) should be fixed."
