"My wife and I loved the apartment. The hallways in the building have a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, but inside the apartment is very clean and comfortable. Parking wasn't as convenient as I would have liked, but we got lucky and eventually got a parking spot right next to the building. "

"Beautiful home, overlooking the ocean. Black sand beach w sea sounds to soothe the soul, and seals swimming. Owners made sure bedding and staples like coffee were available. Management company was responsive to email request. It’s an historic home, interesting to read about it. Convenient to all of the sightseeing we were doing in Snaefellas Peninsula. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you!"

Very clean and very well thought-out, with a Scando interior. Bath was ultra-modern. Quiet, bright, and with big windows and nice lighting. Best of all, we got to see the Northern Lights! "After spending 10 days circling Iceland, this was by far our favorite place to stay. The apartment is both gorgeous and spacious, and the views are wonderful. Looking out from one side of the apartment you will see mountains and a huge glacier. From the other end you will see the ocean. When we were there, we could see seals basking on the rocks just offshore from the apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and especially comfortable. We will be back!"

"The caretaker was nice enough to offer us a pan and some salt for cooking although these stuff should have been available in the room anyway. There was no hair blower in bath room. The curtain on the windows couldn't even block the light and made it difficult to continue sleeping in the morning. The information given prior to arrival was wrong and it was embarrassing to knock the door of other guests when looking for caretaker. The good thing is that there is a playground just down the house...
