"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. After leaving a very unsafe and unsanitary hotel down the street, I found myself without a place to stay after midnight. I called this hotel in a panic, and the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. She reassured me over the phone, welcomed me in, and allowed me to check in so late and even stay until noon the next day.
When I arrived, the hotel was spotless and immediately felt safe and comfortable. She made sure I knew about the breakfast and took the time to make me feel at ease during what had been a very stressful, chaotic night.
The front desk staff member working the overnight shift from Saturday, September 27 into Sunday, September 28 turned a frightening experience into a truly positive one. I am so grateful for her kindness and professionalism. I hope she receives recognition from hotel management for truly fixing a very troubling situation — she is an asset to this property.
The hotel itself was clean, welcoming, and everything I needed in that moment. I highly recommend this property and will absolutely stay here again."
"The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The 'room' was really an apartment - two levels with a dining room, living room, full kitchen, two bedrooms, and 2-1/2 baths. Each level had a deck and parking was right outside the front door.
There's a train track just behind our building but the trains were quiet and not an issue."
"This place was a 12/10. A cute little inn right in downtown Mystic that was walkable to anything you could possibly need. The staff was great at both the inn and the attached restaurant, The Shipwright's Daughter. The building we stayed in did have musty smelling carpet in the hallways, uneven floors, and we had to climb the stairs to our room, none of which bothered us but could be a potential deal-breaker for some. We would definitely consider staying here again if we make it back up to Mystic. Whilst this review is for the inn itself, I can't say enough good things about Mystic. My husband and I loved everything about it. "
