You get what you pay for I guess. It was dirty, and smelled disgusting. Stains all over the rugs, trash in elevators, hot tub didn’t work, shower was cold, and the customer service was rude. I will never stay here again.

We were not allowed to check in early, the bedroom curtain wouldn’t close all the way, so we had to buy something to keep them closed so the light wouldn’t wake us up, the hot tub was not working, the indoor heated pool wasn’t really heated, the water was definitely not that warm. There was also a sign saying there was a sauna, and we couldn’t find it anywhere, so when I called the front desk they said there was no sauna, just the pool. Very disappointing! To top it all off, check out time was 11 am and there was someone knocking on our door at 10:59 am to ask if we were leaving. Not very good customer service. The only thing we liked about this hotel was the location.

There was so much going on with this place… our first impression was pulling into the parking lot and hearing a loud pop underneath our tires only to get out and see that we had run over a small glass alcohol bottle. The conditions of the room were very dingy and borderline unpleasant. There were chips of paint off the walls, the door was rotting to the outside balcony area, where there was about a 1 inch gap with cold breeze flowing through. There were ants present all over our two tables so we could not use the surfaces for holding our belongings.The floor around the Jacuzzi tub had lots of give and appeared to be rotting underneath. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property.

I’m not happy at all my car broke down in the highway I send my daughter with my 2 little grandkids ahead to ck in I called the front desk to explain what happen. The man I spoke to didn’t care. He said no that I had to be there to ck in. I had paid for the room before getting there. So my grandkids wait in the car onto 2:30 in the morning that my tow truck got there not happy at all I would never recommend nobody there. I would never stay there again not happy at all very disappointed.

Dear Maria...We apologize for the inconvenience. The issue wasn't that we demanded you be the check-in, for example your daughter could have paid with her own card and checked in. The issue was that the hotel cannot charge your card for a reservation without verifying it is your card. You simply saying it is over the phone is not adequately protecting the safety of the card holder against fraudulent usage. To do that we require a driver's license or appropriate id that matches the card. Sometimes this may be an inconvenience but it is because we hold our guest's credit card safety of utmost importance. Again we apologize for the inconvenience this caused you.

First Room I was given smelled like cat piss and had beer all over the floor spilled by the bed . Absolutely unacceptable. Got a new room was way better smelled fresh . The ceiling in the bathroom looks terrible water make ceiling tiles expanding. Looks like someone punched a whole in the shower wall and a booger dried up on the bathtub curtain absolutely gross ! The cleaners there need to do a way better job .

Years ago (more than 20) this hotel showed age, in need of updating. Chose to stay here now for convenience of price and location to family we were visiting. The hotel still showing age and still in need of updating. The plumbing could use some help as toilets took 2-3 flushes. Rooms were clean, however the use of a top sheet for a fitted sheet on the bed? Easy to imagine how our sleep was each night. Unfortunately, guests cannot be screened and the price being convenient brings a "seedy" group as the halls on the weekends brought unfavorable smells. In summary, a lesson-learned.

The toilet in the room was broken. Didn't fix it before we left. Was there 2 nights and didn't get fresh towels. And no breakfast on the weekend.

Building is older/dated and not updated. Staff was kind. Continental breakfast each day consisted of a brown bag with water, cup of juice, granola bar and fruit cup. Little bit of a let down on that. The rooms were clean-ish, not superb, visible dust on fixtures, dirty lamp shades, but the bedding and towels were clean. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows had no support. Overall, it was just ok. Not the worst but definitely not great.

Terrible
Stayed due to dance competition in the area. Upon check-in, we were given a room on the first floor. Initially it appeared nice. Newly updated and even had a lemony clean smell to it. However, within minutes I noticed a huge dark colored stain in the middle of the duvet. Then upon pulling the curtains back, their were two dead bugs on the floor. Thought it was due to the windows, but then I saw a dead bug by the desk. Immediately got out of there and demanded a new room. Once we got into the new room (on the first floor again), I inspected. While there were no bugs, I noticed the duvet on one bed had huge white stains and the fitted sheets on the other were stained. Hotel offered to refund and claimed their linens are serviced by a third party. Clearly issues with the third party but also housekeeping staff that put the linens on and left them there despite visible issues. Since we were in a pinch and everything in the area was booked as well, we stayed. However, they had housekeeping change our sheets, and the worker was soooooo nice that he brought us brand new linens fresh out of the packaging. I inspected the mattress to make sure no signs of bugs, and everything was fine. Mattress was too firm for my personal liking. Shower sucked. It was warm... Never hot even though it was turned up. We've stayed there once before and the only issue we had was the hallways smelling if weed. Nothing like this. But never again!!!

Booked the hotel for the pool for my daughter to play. Checked in and headed for the pool. Hot tub was broken, and the pool area was cold due to a broken window (it’s winter!) Within an hour of being there we found 3 roaches in the room and my daughter was freaking out! We immediately asked to cancel the whole thing and left! Never again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a quick snowboard trip and loved our stay! We were a little scared by the reviews at first but decided to go for it because of the price. Our room was very clean, quiet and cozy & we were able to set the temperature to our liking. Parking was easy & convenient. The staff was very attentive and kind. We liked the restaurant attached and went there for dinner and drinks. They had lots of options, great service & it was very convenient. We also liked the heated pool & the breakfast served every morning. It was a basic hotel breakfast but had solid options and was a good first meal of the day. Location was also great. Across the street from a Walmart and close to Mystic & other centers. Don't let the reviews scare you! It's a good cheep option. We had a great time.

A bit disappointed
Checking person was being rude when I told him we have a service dog. Asking why didn’t I say that when booking. I only searched hotels that allow dogs. He also charged a pet fee for my service dog. Continental breakfast was terrible especially the eggs. This is a two star hotel.

dear sam..while we are a pet-friendly hotel, it is still required you contact the hotel prior to arriving to ensure a pet-friendly room is available. one of the particular reasons for this is that a guest might have a medical issue with being in a room that had a service animal in it prior. we do our best to ensure that situation doesn't arise by specifically locating the pets/service animals etc. as to the service animal fee..we apologize for the confusion. you were not charged for the service dog. initially, you stated it was an emotional support animal and later switched the designation to service animal. one is charged for, one is not. we thank you for your stay and hope this clears up any confusion.
