Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa All Inclusive Adults Only
6/10 Okay
"Very shook on the level of service staff showed, lack of enthusiasm to help one out, staff seemed over worked, short staff overall didn’t seem happy to be there. Forsure not the level of service I was expecting."
"The perfect mix of active and peaceful. There were so many amenities available and the daily included spa treatments were INCREDIBLE. The staff went above and beyond for every guest, and perks like water sports and concierge service really made me feel so special. I cannot recommend this resort more - as a solo traveler it was the PERFECT reset. Clean, comfy rooms, plenty of pool or beach lounge options, the nightly entertainment was so lovely & the food! The food was absolutely incredible and so fresh, it gave me faith that all-inclusives can actually get it RIGHT. I’ll never go back to another resort, this was one of the best vacation experiences ever."
"Was an ideal resort for our multi generational family. We had 10 of us total in 3 different villas. The guest services team went above and beyond to make sure our units we were all close by and well suited to our needs. Particularly for our 5 month old baby and 3 year old! The crib was so large that our 3 year old (41 inches) preferred sleeping in it and the kitchen had a tea kettle and dishwashing detergent to heat and clean bottles. Our 3 year old loved making crafts in the kids club and playing with the communal beach toys in the sand. Every restaurant was very accommodating of our large group (even if we had to sit at 2 tables). The only downside is when it rains especially you'll see ants, beetles and mosquitoes inside the unit. Some of the villas are older and the bugs do get in, but overall the villas and amenities are awesome! A beautiful mix of Mediterranean style architecture, costal decor and lush tropical landscapes. The views of the ocean from every balcony are why we love St Lucia!"
"Cap Maison is a beautiful resort. Rooms are spacious and lovely. The beds are very comfortable. The pools are well kept and nice.
For the most part, the service was top notch. From the concierge desk, to housekeeping, and especially the ladies at the Cliff restaurant who waited on us were all super friendly and helpful.
The food in the restaurants was very good, if rather pricey.
The resort is very remote. In some ways that is a good thing. The problem though is availability of food. The resort only has the two restaurants, the Cliff which is more formal, and the Naked Fisherman (92 steps down to the beach). Because both restaurants are not resort exclusive, but are open to the general public, they still want you to make reservations for both dinner and lunch. This does present a problem if you’re wanting a more laid-back, spontaneous vacation. They do have room service, but the menu is the exact same every day and is quite limited. Your only other option is an expensive cab ride down to Rodney Bay or even further to Castries.
Another issue is the air conditioning. Only the bedrooms have ac. Living rooms/kitchens have ceiling fans and screened windows. The idea is to let the sea breeze cool those rooms naturally. The problem though is when you are in a suite in the interior of the resort, the surrounding two-story buildings block any breezes. So those rooms stay too hot to be comfortable. So while we paid for expansive suites, we spent all our time just in the bedrooms."
