"We were greeted with...we don't have room for you.....they found a space at Nynashamn Campground in a cabin on the coast.....50 to 60 kms from Stockholm . A train pass cost an extra 350€ so we could visit Stockholm for 2 days. We got up at 4a to drive to Stockholm to catch a 7.30a ferry Fri. The staff at Nynashamn Campground did all they could to make our stay better."

The Sparrow Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We were looking for a cheaper alternative to The Rival, which we really enjoyed six years ago. The Sparrow looked nice - we thought it was worth a visit. Rooms are cute, but a little small (Classique), but good maid service. Breakfast was a delight - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, pork, cold meats and cheeses, fruits, croissants or rye bread, macroons, yogurts, coffee, tea and orange juice. Lovely ambience with old-fashioned lifts and French music playing in the background. Quiet at the back (courtyard), away from street noise. Excellent front desk. Great area for shopping and close to the harbour and museums. We'll be coming back!"
