The front desk staff were super nice. No issues at all with checking in and checking out. You can tell the property was renovated but yet it need some more fixing up. Our room had a stale smell to it. Our bathroom was not clean enough. The elevators were not working our entire stay.

Hotel was clean. They are currently doing some construction, but there was no work being done while we were there. There is no elevator, so if you are unable to walk up steps request a room on the first floor or do not make a reservation here. Check in was quick.

The room was clean and comfortable. Just a couple tiny things… the toilet seat was really loose and I had two conditioners instead of shampoo. The complimentary breakfast was great! Way more than your standard bagel and toast offering.

First room was not cleaned when we got there, but the staff was pleasant and put us into another room which was good. The location is in a very sketchy area and there was an actual lockdown of the hotel in the morning we left because of a shooting directly across the street.
