"The park was nice and clean. The water park and pool are great areas for the kids. Very small play ground. The cabin floor was dirty, chocolate and foil on the floor. Our baby has severe allergies and if he ate the chocolate, it would of ment a trip to hospital. The bins absolutely stank, there was 5 stray cats eating out of some of the bins. Even the whelly bin next to the pool smelt foul. They need cleaning properly. "
"Very accomodating host. Has welcome gift and parting gift. Know the area with great advices. Great room price with all your essentials included. Pool is magnificent. My son enjoyed feeding the 3 goats. Reception area has great ambience, relaxing nook and array of books and games. Gym is bonus. All you needed is here for a great stay and escape. "
"Excellent motel in Nuriootpa. Rooms are cleans and practical with helpful amenities. A good value for money motel if you’re in the Borassa Valley region."
"Good points - white fluffy towels and clean room.
Disappointing points - room was described as having a vineyard view and we couldn't see the vineyard unless we walked down the driveway. We hadn't realised too that the room was 1 of 4 joined in a row and we could hear next door talking. Later on through the night, we could also hear the drier going in the laundry room, situated between rooms 2 & 3. The TV had no connection at all and the kitchen only had one wine glass. (This is at a winery!).
We felt that the wall cupboard in the kitchen could've been hazardous for banging your head on (just a point for the landlord to bear in mind).
And finally, bed was quite hard - fine for hubby but not myself and I couldn't get comfy with the pillows either so didn't leave feeling rested."
"Advertised as a hotel … NOT a hotel!
This was probably once a nice motel with a restaurant attached but it is now a basic motel -,at best. The restaurant is permanently closed according to staff. Property run down and grubby.
The bed was comfortable which was the only good thing about it.
Shower door is old wood door that does not close properly due to swelling. Fridge/kitchen is actually part of bathroom/hand basin area.
Pool looked clean, but was small and cold. Gardens and landscaping are neglected.
Clearly a run down and poorly maintained property."
