If you enjoy sleeping, do not come here. The bed was hard as a rock, the air conditioner was broken, and the room smelt of sewage. Do not stay here to save money. Spend the extra 30-50 euro to enjoy your life. NOT WORTH IT.

An experience of ups and downs.
Overall I'd rate the experienfe a 6/10, as ut did take some time to get used to hownthis hotel is run and acclimitise to lack of services on offer. I'll split my ratings into 3 categories: Service, Comfort and amenities. Service - I'd give this a 6/10 as the staff at the hotel did a good job to make themselves a available. First night was almost a disaster as we weren't talked through how to control the ac unit of the room and it led to time being wasted, in a hot sticky room. Once that was resolved, staff were usually quite attentive and the hotel manager was helpful with providing advice on how to get across corfu. Comfort - I'd give this a 5/10. Overall, the rooms were clean and our rooms were cleaned every day. However, the biggest let down was the fact that my room had bugs and i was getting bug bites. This was hugely disappointing and made the first few nights disappointing. Hotel lounge was clean, as well as the pool side. Me and my family when we were at the hotel, spent alot.of time by the pool side sunbathing, which was a pleasant experience. Its quite peaceful also alot of the time, as it wasnt busy at the time we stayed. Amenities - I'd give this a 4/10. There were some stuff which were said to be available upon arrival but just werent provided. An example being an ironing service. This was unavailable and it resuled in me having to buy an iron which disappointed me. Also you didn't have a dinner menu, you ordered the food from a third party restaurant.

You should not take cash from your customers and refuse to give them a receipt. You receive cash on Monday and you refused to give me a receipt. Come back and I did still no receipt. That is illegal. I told you on Monday that I needed to change my reservation to depart on Wednesday and it was approved. I asked for my receipt as I departed and no receipt was issued. Your rooms are full of mold. You can open the door to the room because it has been damaged from the humidity.

Great stay!
A really lovely stay at Silver Bay Hotel. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, helping to sort excursions for us. Very good English. Food was nice and a variety of options to choose from. Perfect location, not far from the bus stop to get into Corfu old town and 15 min walk to Kontakali Bay or Gouvia beach. Rooms were slightly basic but for the price we paid, the hotel was great with lovely swimming pool and outside area and bar. Would recommend.

Fabulous - top class!!!
I have a very good stay at the Silver Bay. All of the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Thank you... The room was good and clean. My one downside being there were only Greek tv channels in the room. However, I didn’t go to Corfu to watch tv!!! The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool and bar area and it is very easy to get to other places on the island. All in all a great hotel.

Nice, friendly hotel, with easy access to Kerkiyra
The pool area was very pleasant, not too busy. The room (although the bed was hard) was exactly as advertised, and there were no mosquitoes bothering me! It would benefit from having a toilet close to the poolside as the nearest one was down stairs from reception area. We ordered cocktails but they were not as we would expect served in a plastic pint style glass with no decoration. The internet connection was intermittent once in the room but fine elsewhere.

Fantastic staff and great location.
Perfect location, tucked away from the main road and only a 10 minute walk to the marina or beach in either direction. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Sofia, Despina and the 2 Georges were lovely, always happy to help and point me in the right direction or give a recommendation. It was exactly what i needed as i was on my own for my stay at Silver Bay. The food was excellent, with the option of a set and very reasonably priced menu during the day. I chose to eat from the menu one day and tried some local dishes that were incredible. The breakfast and dinner set menus were equally good. My room was always kept clean and tidy. The only thing i would add is the towels were grey even when clean. And the shower in my room meeded fixing, i had to hold the shower head. All in all it was a great hotel, the location, staff and food made mu experience.

I had a wonderful holiday staff were all friendly and helpful the hotel has a good sized swimming pool, food was good with attentive service from staff. My room, being a single traveller was a bit cramped but was clean and all services wifi , air con,sattelite tv and shower operated well. I would recommend the Silver Bay Hotel to anyone looking for a chilled refreshing break. ps,providing a laundry service for guest's would be a goo addition.

They were extremely helpful and thoughtful. The front desk staff was excellent. They even baked us a cake for our anniversary. We will stay here again when in Greece.

Great hotel for it's price with friendly staff.
The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the bus stop at the hospital of Corfu, near Kontokali bay. It was nice, had a restaurant and a bar, and it was very new and clean. The girls at the reception were really friendly and polite. The area was surrounded by green and there were fireflies everywhere at the time we went. It was a bit hard to find at first, but we did it with a very friendly pharmacist who told a woman to take us there. Thanks Eleni! Buses stop at 10.30 which makes it a bit hard to go out late at night in the city unless you've rented a car or scooter. We asked for an ironing board and iron and they brought it up to our room in 2 minutes. The next day we went to the beach and when we got back our room was cleaned and clothes organized, after we had left a mess. There was a mini-market near which was open until late (went there at 23:00), there's also a super market near the hospital. Overall a good experience: better than we expected considering how cheap it was.

Only a €25 taxi from the airport, Kontokali is lovely, bus to Corfu town is a 5 minute walk, marina is lovely, pebbly beach and clear water.

This venue is out from Corfu but very near to the blue bus line Staff were fantastic Pool is awesome You need to hire a car in Corfu anyway so for the discount rates they have for there location is amended by the quality of service you get We really liked our stay here!

Beds are really hard and uncomfortable. Small bathroom with a shower that does not have adequate shower curtain or tray so whole bathroom gets wet. Pool is a great size and a redeeming feature. Staff are very inexperienced and little support seen from management. Basic questions about a map of area, towels for the pool etc are met with blank faces or 'no' and basically sort yourself out. This could be a great hotel but needs a lot of attention to detail and customer service.

Good value peaceful stay.
The team at Silver bay were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has recently been renovated and apart from the comfort of the beds and bathroom the stay was peaceful and very enjoyable. We were told the beds and bathroooms were getting changed over the winter. The breakfast was varied, fresh and set us up well for the day ahead. The pool is large enough for some length swimming and is clean and gets the sun all day. Great value and we would stay again. :-)

Don't come here - it's a dated disappointment.
This is a terrible hotel. Lifeless and poorly-equipped, the 'recently refurbished' equates to simply fresh tables and wardrobes. The showers are trays in the centre of a tiny bathroom, which floods entirely - assuming you get any hot water. The sinks are rusting, the beds are hard and old and the balconies look out on to the car park or garden areas that are used as piles for rubble. The paper-thin walls ensure you can hear everyone slam their plywood doors because none of them shut properly. The pool area is at the front, which overlooks a road that often has traffic going to the nearby hospital. By far the worst attribute is the breakfast: for an island abundant in fresh fruit and vegetables your choices are limited to plastic cheese or plastic ham. Hot options are a fried egg and frankfurter-style sausages. That means no Greek feta on offer, no tomatoes and no fruit at all (we even asked). The outside bar area is barely stocked and the indoor bar seems to just be used as a club room for the staff. There's a tired looking table tennis table and the Internet is patchy at best. If you wanted to watch TV, the reception is bad and only has Greek channels. The beach is not as close as advertised - but is definitely walkable (I'd estimate about a kilometre). If you have to stay here, eat what you can of breakfast and leave early every day. Then don't come back.

Siamo arrivati in questo hotel dopo una risistemazione da parte della società con cui avevamo prenotato…siamo subito rimasti delusi, le foto non corrispondono alla realtà dell hotel…camere piccolissime, bagno sporco e doccia inutilizzabile, e soprattutto sempre acqua ghiacciata se arrivavi in hotel dopo un certo orario. Dopo varie segnalazioni per via del rumore del condizionatore della camera accanto che andava in blocco, per cui era impossibile dormire, e anche per la doccia ci hanno cambiato camera, ma solo perché ci siamo rivolti ad Expedia,ma la situazione non è cambiata doccia rotta,anche nell altra camera. parlando con altri ospiti della struttura hanno confermato che in tutte le camere era così! Esperienza deludente

Super vacances
Une semaine au top, le personnel de l’hôtel était très à l’écoute et au service des clients ! Le petit déjeuner assez varié et complet et grande piscine très agréable après les journées ensoleillées. Hôtel proche des arrêts de bus pour se rendre un peu partout sur l’île, c’est l’idéal ! Je recommande vivement !
