Sun and Sea in late October
Amazing week at the end of October. Loved being right on the Sea and being able to swim with less than a 5 minute walk. Perfect base for lots of exploring in Chania and beyond. The hosts were brilliant.

Pleasant apartment on the beach
Lovely spacious one bedroom self catering apartment with marble floors. Two balconies overlooking the sea and within one minute of the beach. Well appointed compact kitchen in a cupboard. Shops and good eating places close by. Amazing view of sunsets. Location is set back off the main road and therefore is quiet. Restricted parking available. Good WiFi.

Nice hotel close to the beach and bus stop so you can go to visit Chania town. I would recommend my friends to go there as well.

Beds were stiff and shower was not the best. But you can't beat the staff and the location was fantastic.

Quick one night stay
Only booked one night after flying in internationally. The apartments was clean and well appointed for our needs. Park on the street as there are only 2-3 spots down the dead-end street that leads to the building.

Almost on the beach
Small apartment block in Kalamaki village, a stone's throw from a sandy beach comprising a larger bay and smaller cove protected by an outer rocky "reef". A good selection of taverna's and small shops with good bus connections to Chania and other resorts. Owner Nellie is a delightfully helpful and friendly person, the rooms are serviced daily with clean linen & towels every 3rd day. Kitchenette is a bit basic but adequate. Most apartments have good sea views with at least one balcony.Ask about location and views to get the best location for your preferences - morning/ evening sun, ground vs higher floors etc. Immediate small "garden" and unfinished swimming pool between the apartments and the beach, belonging to an adjoining building still under construction, detracts somewhat from what would be perfect setting.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sea Breeze!
Even before we arrived Nelly was very helpful and arranged a cheaper than normal taxi ride from the airport for us. When we got there she had left a bottle of white Cretan wine and a bottle of water in the studio fridge. Delightful surprise. Through the stay Nelly and the captain (the other owner) were lovely, helpful and generous. We got free treats, from fresh fruit to local food and a later check out for a very small fee. The place is super clean and less than a minute from the sea. The restaurants nearby have free sunbeds and umbrellas if you buy drinks (a deal compared to beach prices I have seen elsewhere). The location is quiet and offers you the possibility to selfcater (there are several food shops just minutes away by foot) or to pop in one of the local tavernas for cheap dinners (you can have two mains, beer or wine for 25 euros if you chose local dishes and house wine).

Amazing View
Our little apartment was all we needed, very spacious although the bathroom could have been laid out better and the showerhead a bit dodgy, it didn't bother us at all. The apartment had two balconies, one with full view of the beach which we accessed by walking down the stairs, with a restaurant on the beach and plenty of sunbeds. But best of all was watching from the main balcony, the magnificent sunrise each morning and the incredible golden moon rises when it was the full moon The other balcony was where we had breakfast each morning because it was cooler than the other balcony, it too had a sea view. The shop was just across the main road and the main street had lots of restaurants. The bus stop was just up the road with buses to Chania one way and Platanios the other. Our apartment was cleaned every day with new sheets/towels and Nellie the owner was a really nice lady who gave us fruit and a bottle of wine on our first night and more fruit later on. We will certainly think about going back to Kalamaki in the future

Wir hatten das Zimmer auf dem Dach mit einer Megaaussicht. Der Strand ist direkt am Hotel mit feinem Sand … Liegen und Schirme sind preiswert… Frühstück gab es im Hotel nebenan… große Auswahl für nur 10€ pro Person… zahlbar vor Ort

Very nice apt. with beautiful view!
We had a wonderful apartment with balconies on two sides. The owner was very kind and nice. Parking lot in front of the building. View towards the seaside is beautiful, a little beach is right in front. Definitely a recommendation!

Hotellet ligger veldig fint rett ved stranden. Vi var uheldige å fikk leilighet 1A å denne sammen med 1 B ligger i kjeller. Ingen utsikt og bortgjemt. Ellers er jo bare Nelly (eieren) topp. Ordner alt fra drosje ved ankomst osv.

Great place!
Great view from the balcony and easy access to the beach. The owner Nelly was super helpful with arranging pick-up from the airport and access to our apartment when we arrived in the middle of night.

Apartment mit schönen Meerblick.
Wir hatten 14 wunderbare Tage in diesem Apartment und fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause.Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis hat mehr als gestimmt und wir hatten fast nichts auszusetzen.Die Inhaberin war immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders genossen haben wir den Ausblick aufs Meer.Wir haben das Studio mit Terasse gemietet und es waren nur ein paar Schritte zum Strand.

Appartamento bellissimo a 2 passi dal mare
La struttura si trova a Kalamachi,una città poco distante da Chania. Dall aereoporto ci vuole circa una 30ina di minuti per arrivare all albergo e35 euro in taxi o 4 euro in pullman (dall aereoporto il primo autobus vi porta alla stazione di chania e poi da li dovete prenderne un altro per kalamachi e scendere alla fermata davanti a un ristorante italiano che si chiama Nesaki, l hotel si trova dopo 200 metri in una stradina sulla destra). Ho soggiornato li con la mia ragazza per 10 indimenticabili giorni!! Appartamenti (noi eravano nell a1) molto belli con wifi e aria condizionata gratis, ma sopratutto a 2 passi da una bellissima spiaggia. La signora della reception è disponibilissima e gentilissima, così come il resto dello staff. Nelle vicinanze ci sono chioschi, una marea di ristorati , bar e supermercati raggiungibili a piedi in pochi minuti. Davanti all hotel c'è un risto/bar che si chiama Irida e che mette a disposizione ombrelloni e sdraio gratuitamente, basta fare una consumazione. Cucina buonissima e porzioni abbondanti con inmancabile grappa e dolce offerti dalla casa a fine di ogni cena/pranzo. Insomma è un posto veramente bellissimo, le persone sono bravissime e sempre superdisponibili! Lo consiglio a tutti giovani e famiglie!!
