Great place
Wonderful view from the hotel. Everything is very clean. Good area with frequent buses. The 97 steps down to the beach and shops will keep you fit but maybe not so good for people with mobility issues. Lovely variety at breakfast everyday. Only about 15 min car journey to Chania.

I loved everything about our stay. Our room and view were excellent. We only stayed a couple of days. Georgio was so friendly and helpful. I didn't get the names of everyone else but they were also great. The hotel is up a small mountain and the road to it is tight if not used to driving in tight spots. Highly recommend.

The view of this hotel is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating (we arrived early and our room was ready!) Complimentary breakfast is delicious and the pool bar has a lot of lunch/dining options if you want to sit by the pool and relax. We absolutely loved our stay!

Lovely property, family run with great customer service. Many food options for breakfast (included) lunch and dinner at great prices and delicious cold local beer. Great pool, but despite umbrellas not a great deal of shade and one should be wary the despite the heat, in October the pool was quite freezing (or invigorating if that's your sort of thing). I struggled with the stairs so only left the compound once per day, would definitely get a car next time as the bus to Chania was almost always crowded. All in all it was a lovely 7 day break in the sunshine with my partner.

Amazing experience staying at this lovely family run hotel. The staff were always friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Will definately stay there again.

Great hotel. The room was modern and very comfortable. Nice location up on a hill overlooking the beach, only a short walk to the beach and the bus stop. Breakfast buffet was superb with plenty of choice. Staff really welcoming and helpful. We definitely want to return.

This place was excellent. The Host was very kind and the breakfast is out of this world. They make iced coffees and other premium coffee beverages in the morning for you at no charge and there is a convenient walkway to get to some of the best restaurants in the area. Would stay again!!!!

The hotel has a nice pool area and pleseant views overlooking the coast line. The staff are pleasant and helpful. This made the stay more enjoyable. The room was nice and decently sized. The beds were comfortable, with medium firmness. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the rooms everyday. The bathrooms are a little on the smaller side, however this was a minor inconvenience. The shower had good water pressure and had consistent warm water. The breakfast in the morning is nice with good options, however the food options remain pretty much consistent everyday. The location is fairly remote from the nearby towns of Agia Marina and Kato Galatas although they are both within walkable distance. Getting to Chania would require a 20 minute bus journey. Fortunately there is a bus stop nearby, which is accessible from the steps which lead down to the main road from the pool area. These steps however are long and steep in areas, so bear this in mind. Overall I was very pleased with my stay at the Renieris Hotel.

Since this was our first international trip we only booked for two nights. Shortly after we arrived we knew this place was going to be our base for our entire time in Crete. This small family owned and wonderful hotel sits on a hill that overlooks the ocean. I could literally sit on the bed and look at the waves. The people that own this business and their staff are some of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet which is completely an indication of the legendary hospitality you'll experience while in Crete. If we ever make it back to Greece, THIS is where we'll stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing. FYI for new visitors, (1) if you dont drive you must take the bus to yhe old town. However the bus doesn't always run on time.(2) there is a VERY LONG stairway with many steps that you must go up and down to access the bus stop and beach. If you dont have a car or want to use cab service. Last thingthe breakfast is included and really good, dinner is not included but the food is amazing. Over highly recommended this place. Because of the staff the room and the area was great.

Very clean and modern hotel up on the cliffs near Agia Marina. The balcony is quite nice to have, although the rooms are on the smaller side as most Euro hotels are, so I would suggest only couples stay here. The amenities are on the lighter side with just a pool, although the breakfast choices are excellent and included with the room fee. Just make sure to have a very small car, as parking can get very crowded by dinner time and you will have to park on the main road. Other than that, for the price it is a very good place to stay if moving around the western part of Crete and exploring.

Good Hotel
The hotel is located on a hill. Looks like a boutique hotel. It gives the impression that this is a family-owned and managed hotel. The service is excellent and the food is good (we took the deal with breakfast). There is not much to do within walking distance and every foray out was done by car. If you are looking for a romantic and quiet hotel, this is the place. The hotel and rooms are clean.

My husband and I just returned from a 15 night stay at the Renieris Hotel and have to say it was amazing! Our plan was to stay somewhere central as we toured around the entire West side of Crete. This property was the perfect location! It is clean, central and family owned and operated. We loved how close it was when we wanted to walk the beaches of Stalos and Platanias So many restaurants and shops. It is also close enough to walk to Chania if you are active. The breakfast was such a fabulous bonus and so delicious! Having busy days hiking and going on adventures always ended with a glass of wine and a swim at the Renieris in their lovely pool. Our room also had a perfect balcony that we watched the sunset every single night. We also did our laundry half way through our stay which is such a great service they offer. The owners and staff are friendly and so helpful. They gave us a bottle of olive oil when we checked out. Crete was beyond beautiful and this property made it an even better destination!

Absolutely stunning! Loved the stay!!!
The hotel was one of the most comfortable ones I’ve stayed in as a frequent traveller. The owners were absolutely lovely; nothing was trouble and all staff was welcoming and accommodating. Georgio was one of the most hard working people I’ve seen since morning till late night but he was always kind, greeted with a smile and ready to help with anything. Hotel was spotless clean and so was the pool area and breakfast bar. There was nothing to dislike and I would recommend this hotel without a doubt! Even after forgetting my book, I found a little library by the reception and could still have a pleasant read. This hotel was just reading my mind- everything I love in the hotel- they had it!

This property has a wonderful location overlooking the Aegean Sea and the island of Agia Theodora while you are relaxing by the pool, having breakfast, lunch or dinner, or sitting on your porch or balcony. The Owners and Staff are very friendly and accommodating and are always available. The hotel is clean, rooms are beautifully equipped and decorated with a European charm. The grounds are well-maintained with beautiful trees and flowers all around and has a really nice outside dining area and pool. The food is delicious! The hotel is convenient to shops and other restaurants in the area and is across from the beach if you would like to swim in the Sea. I rented a car and it is close enough to Chania town center and also to take a ride through the villages and mountains for example to Kandanos or Paleochora. A truly wonderful week spent at a great hotel!

My daughter and I had a great stay at this property. Our flight came in early and they accommodated us with checking in early. Our flight out was early and they provided a to go breakfast and assisted with scheduling a taxi to the airport. Super helpful staff. Nothing bad to report! Will recommend!

Well maintained hotel , great amenities, very responsive and helpful staff . Very tranquil with amazing views. 94 steps down to beach / street level but the pool on site is very inviting so if you don’t want to leave you don’t have to. The hotel affordability is also incredible . It’s very high rating is absolutely justified.
