Words and pictures cannot describe how incredible this home is. The caldera view and location are a perfect 10. The home is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained by Eirini. We loved every single second of staying here and wished we would have stayed longer than 3 days. Staying at Ikia Kriton will be one of the best decisions you have ever made.

Just returned from 3 nights stay for my honeymoon and this accommodation exceeded all our expectations. We started our trip with Santorini and missed our connecting flight and had to wait for the next flight to Athens and then Santorini. 10 hours later, we finally made it late at night and were exhausted. Eirini who was the host was gracious and kind in rearranging our transfer. The hotel is in a house unit and facing the caldera which must be reached by steps from the main road. I highly recommend to book transfer through hotel especially if you have not been to Santorini. Eirini then meet us at the drop off area and walked us to the hotel. The view in front door step is just breathtaking and the hotel is beautiful. Very authentic with cave like bathroom, spacious with living room, full kitchen and bedroom area. Eirini was so kind prepared us fresh cookies she baked earlier and a bottle of wine. Comes with all toiletries amenities including a slipper which I appreciate as not hotel offers. Eirini took the time explaining the map of Santorini and this hotel comes with bus schedule, maps and guide books for guests. Overall stay was very pleasant, housekeeping once a day. The best part is waking up to sunrise overlooking caldera with a coffee in your hand. We rented an ATV the next day and rode around the island all day and visiting beaches, Oia and Thira and full of tourists from cruise ships made us even more thankful that we choose Imerovigli.

Beautiful house with very stylish decos, spacious and very clean. We could see spectacular View of the Caldera from the windows, and from a deck. The owner Eirini is very nice and helpful. She met us at the village Square on arrival and helped us to carry the luggage to the house. She let us leave our luggages in her house after we checked out and she also arranged the airport taxi for us. Thank you, Eirini!

Beautiful house with incredible view!
The house is absolutely delightful, very clean, lovely styling & the view is incredible. The host was so accommodating, she waited up till midnight to show us into our room and tell us all the things to do and see. A complimentary bottle of wine, grapes, olive oil and her home made biscuits were a lovely touch. We had the best time in Santorini and could not recommend this place highly enough!

Beautiful home in Imerovigli
Just returned from spending 3 nights at Ikia Kriton (2 person apt) so here’s my review ... firstly the home was beautiful and extremely clean with a lovely outside area where you can sit with a drink in the shade looking at the Caldera, there’s also a private sun terrace with 2 sun loungers. The host Eirini was absolutely amazing, courteous and informative- she arranged our transfers to and from the airport and met us on arrival - she showed us around the home and gave us some useful information about Imerovigli and Santorini (nothing seemed too much trouble for her and she made us feel very welcome and relaxed) Theres no pool at the accommodation however within a one minute walk guests can use th pool at Zenith Blue (you have to pay €10 per person on drinks) The home has a lovely restaurant (Blue Note) a few steps away where you have an amazing view of th sunset and there is a nice small bar a few steps away so it really does have everything you could want within easy walking distance. Imerovigli is a perfect place to stay as it’s quieter than Fira but only a 20 minute walk away from the main town. I would absolutely 100% recommend Ikia Kriton and trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed. We would definitely return and would only stay here. Thank you Eirini for all your kindness and assistance you really did enhance our experience.

The apartment is located in Imerovigli (awesome location) with so much to do in the area, a good hike to Oia, and amazing restaurants within 5 minutes of walking. The apartment is convenient in terms of location, safe, amazing views all around and less touristy, so you feet at home, very comfortable and great outdoor sitting area. Fantastic customer service and prompt replies no matter what your needs are, the hosts are always going above and beyond. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment, which was very spacious, interior and decor is very tasteful and modern. The made sure the space was cleaned periodically which was awesome. We received tasty welcome treats and champagne to celebrate our upcoming wedding during our visit. We will absolutely stay here again when we return for our anniversary!

What an incredible place to stay! The views are unbelievable, pictures just don't do it justice. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and exactly like the pictures. This is a perfectly located appartment on the coastal path, so the views are stunning. The accommodation is large, stylish and spotlessly clean. The host is friendly and welcoming and we were provided with lots of local knowledge that made our stay so special. We had use of a fabulous sun terrace with views that we will never forget. There is a shaded outside area for eating in and just watching the many tourists go by. We found this a most enjoyable pastime, and we chatted to people from the world over. A swimming pool is also available close by, local shops provide fresh everything and there are lots of high quality restaurants about. Santorini is a beautiful island, nowhere is too far away, (excellent public bus services)and our stay at Ikia Kriton was the best! I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. The only negative about Santorini is that you will need strong legs as the volcanic slopes are steep and there are lots of steps to get to most places. But it is a price worth paying for magnificent views that the Caldera offers. Ikia Kriton in the north of the island is in the best part of the island for beauty and location, you will love it here.

This is probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. Eirini and Kriton were fantastic hosts, treating us like friends/family, going way above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. And the property itself was overwhelming, so beautiful. If you have an opportunity to stay here, you should! You won’t regret it! Imerovigli is the perfect location, not overly crowded like Oia and Fira, and spectacular views atop the clifffs. Easy to get to other parts of the island.

My wife and I stayed at the Ikia Kriton apartment for 3 nights. Eirini arranged pickup for us at the airport for 20 EUR and met us as our van arrived to help us make our way down to the apartment. The moment we walked over the caldera rim we wished we’d booked a longer stay. The views from this part of Imerovigli are absolutely stunning! The apartment was a short 5 min walk down from the street. With two flights of steps involved. Upon arrival at the property we were greeted with a gift basket including a very nice bottle of Santorini white wine. Eirini did a great job of giving us an overview of the property and things to do in the region. There are some great books on Santorini and a useful hiking map. Location: There are several restaurants and grocery stores within a 5 to 10 min walk. The trail to Skaros Rock starts about 100m away and makes a great short hike (30-45 min). We hiked in to Fira a couple of times and that took about 30 min and wasn’t too bad. The hike back is a bit more difficult due to the elevation difference but still manageable. However there is a bus from Fira to Oia that runs every 30 min which stops in Imerovigli that is a quick and cheap alternative. Amenities: The bathroom is very clean and spacious. The apartment had a very efficient and quiet air conditioning unit. The bed was super comfortable! There’s also a kitchenette with mini-fridge. We made eggs every morning for breakfast. Stunning location with stunning views
This is a stunning holiday property with the most beautiful views from either the sun terrace or the property entrance lobby seating area. The town of Imerovigli is the highest on the island and is in a very good location for exploring other areas. Wonderful place to stay in Santorini
Ikia Kriton was a wonderful experience in itself. The location is wonderful, with the most amazing views. We stayed in the ground floor space and literally woke up to the caldera every morning. Eirini is a great host and we were greeted in a wonderful way. She booked the transfer from the port for us and was always available if something was needed. She even made us cookies for our arrival along with a fruit basket. I highly recommend Ikia Kriton to anyone who wants to visit Santorini.

Idyllic hideaway with unrivalled view
It's difficult to know where to start this review. Everything about this apartment, and the generous hospitality we received from Eirini and her lovely family, was perfect. Eirini organised our transfers to and from the airport and met us in the main square of Imerovigli to show us the best short cut to the apartment / help us get our bags up and down the stairs. We stayed in the downstairs apartment. The apartment itself was beautifully modern, spacious, light, airy and immaculate. The bed was heavenly and the shower was strong, clean and roomy. The kitchen had all the amenities we could want, plus a complimentary basket of fresh homegrown fruit, homemade biscuits and wine. We were there for a wedding so Eirini let us borrow her iron - nothing seemed too much trouble. One of our favourite things was the caldera view from the sheltered front porch, where we could sit and eat breakfast and watch the world go by (making all the passing walkers jealous). The apartment is about a 3-minute walk from the main square in Imerovigli where there are plenty of supermarkets etc., with a number of good restaurants and bars even closer.

Totally worth it and highly recommended
To put things in context, we have rented approximately 30 different places over the years and Ikia Kriton is one of the best, if not the best place we've stayed at. Absolutely fantastic. Eirini was there to meet us upon arrival and she had previously arranged our transfer from the port. She gave us a comprehensive tour of the apartment, answered all our questions and shared her recommendations of things to do and places to eat while in Santorini. She had also prepared a welcome basket of home baked goodies, fresh fruits and wine for us. As well, she's always available in case of problems. The apartment is quite large, well laid out, tastefully decorated, and has all needed amenities. Layout is perfect for a family of four or two couples with two large bedrooms and bathrooms. It was also sparkling clean and we had daily maid service. The view of the caldera is amazing and the large terrace is perfect for breakfast or a drink. The Fira-Oia path is just a few steps from the property but it is very quiet inside the apartment. Fira is about 20 minutes away by foot and many excellent restaurants are less than 10 minutes away. We could go on and on about why this place is a fantastic rental. Bottom line is, we absolutely recommend Ikia Kriton. It's a wonderful apartment with great owners and in an excellent location. Can't really see how you can get a better price & quality ratio. We would come back in a heartbeat. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!

A stunning sanctuary with million dollar views!
Pictures do not do this fully renovated and remarkably authentic home (not hotel) justice. Every detail in this cave home is exquisite and thought through from the high quality sheets, food and self care products to the remarkable customer service from Eirini and Kriton. The Imerovigli location is the best in Santorini. An outstanding 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that you won't regret booking! We look forward to a longer return visit.

Amazing Accomodation!
This place was absolutely amazing and had the most spectacular breathtaking views! It completely exceeded our expectations and the pictures honestly do not do justice to how beautiful these accomodations are. When I first started my search, this one kept popping up and as I was reading the reviews I was thinking "this is too good to be true" and after a few days we decided to take the chance. Best decision by far, I wish we could have stayed there forever! Eirini, the owner, is such a wonderful lady, she arranged transfers for us, recommended restauraunts, arranged laundry, tours, etc. She was so very generous and gracious to us which was made our trip so much more incredible. We will definately be going back there again someday.

Our host, Eirini, coordinated our transfer to and from the airport, had a lovely welcome basket for us, and helped with my multiple other arrangement questions. We were in the one bedroom apartment with an amazing view of the Caldera. The room was spotless, and cleaned everyday. I would have stayed forever!

Perfect place to experience Santorini
Ikia Kriton was the perfect place for my husband and I. We spent 6 nights there at the end of May/early June. It was an ideal walking distance to Fira and to great restaurants in Imerovgli, and even the trek to Oia. It is perched above a foot path so we enjoyed a great amount of privacy while also partaking in people watching. The private patio was fantastic and we spent lots of time sunning, reading and dining on it. The view from it the patio is stunning. Our host, Eirini, was wonderful. She coordinated our transportation to and from the residence and we arrived to a place that was our dream Santorini accommodations. Everything is in perfect condition and the attention to detail was fantastic - there was a welcome basket of fruits and homemade marmalade and cookies, as well as a bottle of wine and water in the fridge. The kitchen was well supplied and each room had air conditioning. To our surprise, a housekeeper came to clean the suite each day - we didn't expect this at all. We could not have been happier with our experience - many thanks Eirini and Zeta.

We had a great stay here. The host Eirini arranged a transfer from the airport, collected us and provided us with a map and so tips of where best to watch the sunset. The apartment has amazing views of the sea and the volcano. The apartment itself was spotless and we smiled every ending when we got home. We spent every evening after dinner out on the terrace. We where really glad we stayed at Ikia Kriton and a little sad to have to leave.

Self catering apartment with excellent view.
I was picked up and dropped off by the owner, very pleasant and helpful lady. Room was cleaned everyday. I was offered help whenever needed. Very quiet and pleasant place. I would always comeback if I am in Santorini. Price is very competitive. If you like a break without swimming pool and Jacuzi.....this is the ideal place.

Fantastic views - beautiful apartment
We had a wonderful stay in the Ikia Kriton apartment in Imerovigli and we will definitely return. The owners were very accommodating, providing a welcome basket containing fruit,wine and home made cakes. The resort of Imerovigli is beautiful and is situated just a short walk from Fira.. The walk to Oia is spectacular but quite a hike. We visited in May and the temperature was very pleasant - the sun can be very strong but there are plenty of strong breezes. Pack comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and bring a camera.

Island retreat
Great apartment with sun terrace for watching the world go by. I was surprised the apartment hadn't just been refurbished, the condition is immaculate. It's a good mix of traditional and modern. Lovely friendly owner who makes tasty biscuits! They live nearby, so on hand if you have any problems or questions. The area is a bit quieter than Fira & Oia, but still plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. You just aren't overwhelmed by passengers from the cruise ships. Would highly recommend!

Nice apartment with nice view of the sea
The hotel is on top of the caldera looking out to the sea. Short walk to the church below to watch the fame Santorini sunset without the crowd. We occupied the one bedroom downstairs, but since the two bedroom unit upstairs is unoccupied, the owner let us use its large terrasse to relax, have breakfast or sip wine while watching the sea. She also graciously arranged our transportation as well as guided us to the best restaurants. Overall, we had a great time there. Strongly recommend it.

Outstanding in Every Aspect!
We hired the one bedroom apartment downstairs. The host was extremely welcoming, helped us wherever possible. We were helped to have transfer arranged in between airport and our huge luggages transported to and from the apartment. Upon arrival, we were given fruits, wine and homemade biscuits. The apartment is the same as shown in the photos. Very nicely furnished and clean. The view was awesome, lots of people actually come by to take pictures in our area. Little church, dome with bells near the apartment with the serene Caldera view in front of you. We had access to a sheltered terrace and also an open terrace. It's great to have shelter too when it's windy or boiling hot, the place was just wonderful and our trip at Santorini would not have been perfect without our stay at Ikia Kriton.

Forget Disney, this is the happiest place on earth
The service was impeccable, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The renovated cave house has stylish, contemporary accommodations that also stay true to the true traditional history of the island - a perfect combination that only real "Santorinians" can provide. Erini was very open to discussing the history of the island and provided us with "insider tips" to ensure we had the best time wherever we went on the island. Eirini and her entire family have created an amazing and luxurious place to visit that is adaptable to any type of environment you prefer - families, couples, adventure seekers, etc. The view speaks for itself. You cannot take a bad photo from any angle. Daily we would sit on the terrace, enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset - comfortably from the terrace, while dozens of people who were not as fortunate, would travel to this location, stand in the pathways below us and witness the magical views. I have never made a point to write a review about a hotel before - and I've been lucky enough to stay at some nice places ( Ritz Carltons', Westins', boutique hotels ) - but this experience was that special. We had an experience that was worth every dollar we spent and more.

Perfect apartment in Santorini
Very nice apartment with spectacular views. The host Eirini was very kind and helpful and came to pick us up and drop us at the drop off point. The apartment is centrally located and a minute away from the sunset point and church. The views from the terrace are just incredible. Overall a place I will definitely recommend to everyone.

Absolutely stunning 10/10!
Me and my fiancé absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful location and apartment! Bogdan welcomed us personally and provided us with very useful information and recommendations for our stay. We didn’t have much planned for our trip to Santorini so it was super helpful! We followed his advice and had the best time. Bogdan is such a service minded and kindhearted person and we felt very welcome. If we ever come back to Santorini we know where we will stay. Can recommend 10/10!

Dreamy accommodation in every aspect!
Ikia Kriton is the best place to stay in Santorini! The location is awesome with the most beautiful views of the sunset and the volcano (better than anywhere else in Santorini). The apartment is just perfect and we were impressed with every detail of it. It was spotlessly clean and we loved the decoration and the traditional style of the house. As per our hosts and especially Mrs. Eirini, we can’t find enough words about how generous, kind and friendly are and their excellent service too. They are willing to help whatever your needs are and they provide very useful information about the island and places to visit and eat. They kindly arranged for us on time transfer from and to airport and kept our luggage after the check-out until our departure time. Mrs. Eirini welcomed us when we arrived at Imerovigli, she helped us with our luggage and then she showed us the apartment which is very spacious and well-equipped and she gave us an overview of the history of Santorini and things to do. She had also prepared a basket with a bottle of Santorini’s famous wine, fruit and local products and their homemade delicious cookies. Mrs. Eirini was treating us like being her family. We haven’t met before such great hosts who care so much about their guests! It is difficult to express exactly how amazing was our stay at Ikia Kriton and the great hospitality that we enjoyed. We are much looking forward to visiting again Santorini only to stay more days to this lovely and peaceful place!

Nous venons de passer 4 nuit dans cette très belle cave house. Tout était parfait! Eirini nous a particulièrement bien accueilli et a pris le temps de nous expliquer l’histoire de Santorin et nous donner de judicieux conseils pour nos visites. La cave house est très confortable et très joliment décorée. La vue est splendide et c’est un vrai plaisir de profiter de la terrasse. Le ménage est fait chaque jour, le service est digne des meilleurs hôtels.

Beautiful apartment, spectacular views
This apartment is truly wonderful! It comes with a spacious private terrace with spectacular views over the caldera, the volcanic islands in the middle of the caldera and Fira, the capital of the island. When my girlfriend and I arrived, we had tears in our eyes because we were so overwhelmed. We tried to spend as much time on the terrace as possible, starting with an extended breakfast in the morning and ending with a bottle of wine at night. The apartment itself is very large, beautiful and tastefully furnished. Although in a traditional house, everything is new, renovated and in very good shape. There is also a very thorough daily cleaning service. Eirini, the landlady, was extremely nice and helpful and assisted us with everything, for example, arranging transfer from the airport, getting a rental car and providing much information on the island. The appartment is located in Imerovigli, which is, in our opinion, the best place to stay on the island. It is in walking distance from Fira (20 minutes), but much calmer and more romantic. Imerovigli is also not as secluded as Oia but in the centre of the caldera so that you can explore the whole island easily from there. And Imerovigli is on the highest point of the caldera so that the view is the best! Only a short walk from the apartment is Skaros Rock, which was, in our view, by far the best place in Santorini to enjoy a romantic sunset (in contrast to overcrowded Oia). To sum up, we absolutely recommend Ikia Kriton!

Amazing holiday
Traditional house with breath taking views and amazing decor.We loved the Apivita amenities made from natural ingredients. Great hospitality,upon arrival we found a basket with fresh fruits, homemade cookies and a bottle of local wine. Eirini gave us very good tips on restaurants and places to visit she was always more than happy to help us with any inquiry. I would highly recommend it as we have never had a better service than the one Eirini and Gianni gave us. Thank you for making this an unforgettable holiday.
