Views were not as expected!
If you are looking for a hotel on the beach, this is not. The beach is across the street, mostly hidden by trees, bushes and flowers. Sophia at the morning buffet was delightful. She always greeted you with a smile. Very disappointed with views that I was expecting .

Very clean and looks all new. This is pritty high end resort. Also, food is excellent and well presented. The beach is accross the road, but very close. The beach is managed by not so high level company. We went to other beaches.

Modern hotel, well built and well maintained. Our room (Garden View studio, number 213) seemed to be one of the best in the hotel, because it had a shady and private balcony with nice greenery - some of the other rooms seemed much less private. The room itself was well designed and furnished - very clean and pleasant. While there is a beach opposite the hotel, there is a much nicer beach about 8 minutes walk to the west. There is a bus at the door to take you the short distance into Chania old town, which is lovely. Really the only downside was the fact that the hotel imposed charges for things that ought to have been included in the room rate - 10 Euros for use of the safe in the room!! and an extra charge for pool towels! This just seemed mean and very poor policy.

This is my second visit to the Forum Suites, it was great to see that they had continued to refurbish the rooms. Additionally, the staff are always so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Booking taxi's, tickets for the bus and recommending local restaurants.

Good location virtually opposite a beach and easy walking distance to other nice beaches. A bus also stops right outside the door and can take you into Chania Old Town in about 15 minutes. Our room was nice and spacious with a large balcony. Not sure too many other rooms had the large balcony. Mini mart on site to get supplies if you need them

We had a very pleasant stay at the Forum Suites, the room was a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen area that included dishes and a small refrigerator though not a microwave. The breakfast was very good with a variety of foods, the pool area was very nice, and the location was great right across the street from a beautiful beach, and the bus stop was at the front door you could even get your tickets at the front desk. Christina was very helpful, which we appreciated very much!

Very nice and very clean rooms. Nice location, in front of a beach and close to some nice taverns, although it is not very easy to find a parking. The stuff was not particularly friendly, apart from the lovely cleaning lady.

Great place to stay! Highly recommended!
The stay was amazing, staff are very friendly and accommodating! Next to the beach with beautiful weather! Made friends with the apartments cats (there are 4 of them ☺). Great food and everything is clean, they left a bottle of wine and a sweet birthday message decorated with balllons for my brothers birthday and we needed late checkout and this was done very promptly, basically its been perfect! Would recommend Forum Suites to everyone!

Nice property and location; just not very quiet
The reception staff is very nice. The property looks nice and is a great location. The beach near the property is very nice. The cleaning staff does a great job. The room and any area we went to always looked well maintained and clean. The room was nice. The only problem we really had was that there is absolutely no sound barrier between your room and the other rooms. We could hear the people over us and to each side of us very well. So it was hard to sleep especially since there were children next to us. Also, there are no hooks in the bathroom or next to the sink to hang towels or clothes on. That would have been nice.

We loved our stay at Forum Suites. The hotel and room was really nice and seemed brand new. Excellent location just across the road from the beach and the #21 bus stops outside the hotel to get you straight into town. Highly recommended.

Overpriced small hotel. The location was OK given the proximity to a great beach. The major problem is that the hotel is understaffed and things move slowly. Breakfast is at best mediocre and at pick times there is a high probability you wait for certain items.

Beautiful room with lovely location
The room was amazing, vey clean and had a beautiful setup. The hotel's vicinity to the beach and the attached restaurant were comvenient as well. Would definitely stay again. It was also nice to have supermarkets in walking distance.

We had issue with the air conditioning in our room. We had the guy from front desk come up and tell us it's because our patio door was open. Even with the patio door shut, the AC would not work. He mentioned, there's been problems with the AC in the room and said he will have someone come take a look the following day. We requested for another room instead as it was hot in the room but he mentioned there was none. That was a bit irritating but the next day, they did get the AC fix. Overall, service could've been better. We stayed at several places throughout Crete before heading to Chania and just didn't feel the same welcoming vibe as we did from other places we stayed at.

Stayed for 2 weeks end September. Hotel right opposite lovely beaches and 10 minute bus ride to central Chania (bus stop right outside hotel & discount ticket available from reception) Room very comfortable, slightly dated but kept spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast basic but fine. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

I travelled with my fiancée and 15 month old baby. I can honestly say that I couldn't fault this hotel . The staff were very very friendly and accommodating. They made us feel very welcome. The actual hotel was very close to two excellent beaches. The hotel itself was very clean and the restaurant was fantastic. I would have no hesitation in staying here again and would like to thank the hotel staff for our stay

All staff we encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful. Can hire 2 loungers + umbrella for 7 days at e15. Ideal setting, with the beach just over the road, and another, in my opinion, better, 5 minutes walk. Vey good bus (21) service from appts. to Chania every 20 mins. Spacious & comfortable apartment. Only niggle is the bathroom, where the floor floods after taking a shower. A simple curved ramp would solve this. Not a criticism of the hotel, but the pool can get overcrowded. Party of young men jumping & bombing in & out of the water became annoying, and 3 large inflatables is too many at the same time in the water. Only disappointment was the morning the hotel had arranged for us to be collected by coach at 8.30 a.m. We arrived when breakfast starts at 8.00 in order to obtain bacon & eggs as it would be some time before our next meal - and we are English! Whilst most of the other offering had been put out, it was 8.15 before we saw any eggs being cooked, and after 8.20 when a pack of bacon was opened, let alone cooked. This meant that, in order to be on the coach, we missed out on our breakfast of choice. Sorry, but if breakfast starts at 8.00 then all items should be available at 8.00. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Fantastic Forum
We had a fantastic stay at Forum. Great location 50m to a beautiful beach and easy access to Chania by bus. The staff were fantastic especially the 2 girls at breakfast.

Great location for a beach holiday
Very attractive complex around a small but pleasant pool. Main Golden Beach just across the road but other smaller beaches a short walk away. Very easy access to Chania - bus stops outside the hotel - can get crowded at peak times. Easy level walk to Chania along the beach which takes 30 - 40 mins. We ate once in the hotel - moussaka was great - but the draw of Chania in the evenings was just too much. Great breakfast selection however!

Great location next to beaches
The staff were absolutely lovely, every single one was very helpful and delightful to speak to. The room was clean and had a useful kitchenette, and the shower was great. The food at the restaurant was really lovely, we ate there three times - I can recommend the Caesar Salad - and it's open all day. The breakfast wasn't the best but ok for the price. Really easy to get into Chania by frequent bus stopping at hotel. Ask at reception for the excursion to Gramvousa - it was a perfect day!

Great stay by the beach
Beautiful and well-maintained courtyard pool area, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff across the board. Great location not far from Chania Old Town (30-40 minute walk, 15 minutes by bus from right outside the hotel's front entrance) but in a relaxed and quiet area away from the busier coastal spots. Lovely sandy beach just across the road with beach cafe/bar and umbrellas. The room/apartment was a little dated but some rooms appear to have been recently renovated so more improvements might be on the way.

Very clean rooms, bar, restaurant and pool area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the waitress, Danny, full of beans and always smiling. Our room description (booked through Expedia) stated a pool view but when we arrived our room had a small balcony that backed onto the rear of the property with no view. We told reception and even though the room type is what we had paid for, they happily upgraded us to a bigger room on the ground floor that had a balcony at the front, looking over the pool and also a balcony at the back with 2 chairs and 2 sun loungers. The room was very spacious and cleaned daily. We had 2 single beds pushed together which is my only negative comment. They kept slipping apart on the tiled floor but the cleaner tied the legs together which seemed to do the trick. The bus stop is right outside, we took the 10 minute bus ride into the Old Town most nights where you can find everything you need. Beach is also over the road from the hotel. Brilliant week stay there, I would recommend to anyone and I would happily return to the same resort and hotel.

We were really very happy with our stay at Forum Suites. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. We had Suite 225 which was spacious, well designed and very comfortable. It had two private balconies, both with sea views. We slept incredibly well in the amazing beds. Breakfast was always generous and delicious. And the beach is literally across the road - prefect! Highly recommended.

From their staff to the pool, restaurant and the bar and right on the beach, this is a great deal when staying in Chania.

We arrived before check in time due to an early flight. The room was not ready which is understandable. The hotel staff worked really hard to get the room ready in a reasonable time. Meanwhile they offered us breakfast and we thought it would be free because that was in our agreement however, it did cost extra. The breakfast was not very good. There wasn't many options. The eggs were under cooked every time. It cost us 8 euros a piece when the quality of it is half the cost. There are two beaches very close. They were nice beaches. They were sand beaches not pebbles. The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. However, the air conditioning unit was not working for half of the trip (7 out of the 14 days). We requested help on three seperate occasions and only got help on the last attempt. The older gentleman who was working a night shift came up and checked it and assured us that the maintence worker would come the next morning which he did. The hotel says there's wifi and for us it was strong and then became weak towards the end. There's good wifi in the lobby and restaurant. All in all it was a good trip. Could have been better if the airconditioning was working and had better breakfast.

Nice hotel in convenient location
Good restaurant. Room nicely finished with comfortable bed, lovely balcony with sea view, nice shower, but slightly irritated by lack of shower accessories like shelf space, and towel rail. But this may have just been our room. Nevertheless would probably go again.
