very good hotel in the aspect conditions-price. there are beaches nearby on foot distance; bus stop for public transport on 50 m (buses are until midnight every 15 minutes and it takes about 15 minutes to the center of the city for 1,5 euros only); delicious affordable food in the hotel restaurant; kindly and responsive staff; cleanness - the towels and sheets are changed every day; the room is big enough

Spotless very well maintained the manager walked the property continuously the kitchenette was a huge plus Will definitely be going back family & beach !

We were there overnight, and it would probably make a good budget to stop for longer, as the pool area was nice, and the restaurant has a great view and very good food. The actual room while large was fairly basic, particularly the ensuite with handheld shower and curtain, the room smelled a bit smokey, but the sheets were very soft and good quality. Also we had expected on-site parking, it turned out to be roadside, though there was plenty and it seemed fairly safe. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Great location, very nice place to stay
Great locations as just few mins to bus stop (bus no 21 goes directly to Chania). Within max 10mins walk you have few nice restaurants ( highly recommend Sunbaboo!!) The hotel is clean, good swimming pool, new and clean aircon, rooms are cleaned every day. And very decent price.

A good price and wonderful location, but we had no Wifi or cell reception in our room. We also had poor drainage in the shower and a broken fridge, but the manager fixed both of those problems.

Well run family hotel
I liked the hotel and the friendly family that runs it. They took care if anything I asked for, clean towels, calling a taxi, getting me a hairdryer etc. They were kind and thoughtful.

The location gave a beautiful view, but fairly far from downtown Chania. The bed was alright and the bathroom was functional but the shower kind of leaked onto the floor. The biggest issue was the mold on the wall of my room near my bed, luckily it wasn't black mold so I wasn't overly concerned. I didn't say anything but probably should have, didn't notice until later though. Other than that the place seemed nice, it had a pool but I never used the amenities. Did find a great little restaurant within walking distance though!

I liked the onsite swimming pool and restaurant, but was never able to find anyone at the restaurant to serve us. The WiFi never worked in our rooms; had to sit on balcony to get decent access:p

Close to everything
We have stayed here before. We like that it is very close to everything and you can take the bus from the airport. They renovated the restaurant patio which is nice. They said that they will be doing some room reservations next year, hopefully they put in some ceiling fans and some shower curtains. Also a few fresh fruit for beakfast might be nice. We had a good time. And may go back again.

Clean hotel super close to the beach. Great friendly staff. Morning buffet is daily 8am-10am for 6€ and is very delicious!! Not the widest selection, but definitely tasteful.

What makes a small hotel in Kalamaki the great hotel ?the staff and its great customer service. if you're looking for a hotel which is not far from aiport(bus 2.3€) has great conection by bus 21 (2€)from Chania good wifi and views over the sea from the top floor restaurant then this is it!We stayed there with the family of 5. The host is the most charming and attending person you can imagine. We will be back!

This hotel is located in the area of Kalamaki a really cute little village. I was privileged enough to have a room that not only overlooked the pool but I could also enjoy a sea view. The room while basic was pretty good, the aircon worked well, there was a TV and fridge and it was cleaned every day. The bathroom was very basic but still functional it does take some getting used to using a shower without walls or curtain but I soon got used to it, a hairdryer might have been nice. The staff are lovely and very helpful and the breakfast is pleasant, it's only a short walk to the beach or to the main shopping area where there are plenty of wonderful restaurant's to choose from, there are also travel agents that will assist with any excursions that you may require. If you're looking for a pleasant economical stop then don't pass this one by.

Perfect for 1 or 2 nights
When traveling through Crete, this hotel is perfectly fine for 1 or 2 nights. The family who manages this hotel was quite friendly and accomidating. There is a restaurant right on the premises, however, there are several restaurants right near the hotel as well. The beach is right across the street, but if you prefer a pool, there is one right on the property. Parking is off-street, and not on the premises. Shower is in the middle of the bathroom, and not in an enclosed space, so everything does get wet.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hotel avec un enfant. Tout s'est bien déroulé. La chambre est propre et suffisamment grande. La literie était confortable. La kitchenette est un réel plus pour les séjours un peu long. Elle est bien équipée. Un lit parapluie est disponible gratuitement sur demande. L'accueil a été chaleureux. L'hotel est en bord de plage et en bord de route. Les nuisances sonores sont tout à fait correctes à l'intérieur de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner est un peu inférieur à d'autres établissements en termes de qualité-prix mais reste tout à fait raisonnable. En résumé il s'agit d'un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Non è tutto oro quello che luccica. Le foto della struttura sono fatte bene... ma arrivi e ci sono tanti punti neri. Dalla pulizia ai servizi offerti. Il wifi non va dappertutto se vuoi usufruirne devi stare fuori. Il buffet colazione: tristissimo e pessimo. Ho chiesto un caffè per macchiare il latte, mi hanno risposto che non lo fanno ci pensa il capo e il "capo" se nonché proprietario o gestore mi fice che c'è il caffe americano se lo voglio. Il vomito,acqua sporca,il succo acqua colorata . Non esistono fette biscottate, me le sono comprate e non esiste pan carré tostato . Solo pane, l'unico buono. Posate poco oulite, vassoi poco puliti ... non mi dilungo. La struttura è da rivedere un bel po' . La nostra vacanza è andata benissimo mah, in quel posto mai più.

Hôtel sympa, bien situé Points négatifs : ils indiquent un parking lors de notre réservation sauf qu’en fait en arrivant on vous dit que vous pouvez vous garer dans la rue!Petit Bémol : rue avec beaucoup de restaurants donc pas toujours simple pour trouver une place. Aucune info concernant le changement des serviettes, un matin serviettes posées au sol pour être changées, en rentrant ils avaient juste repris ces mêmes serviettes pour les faire sécher sur notre balcon!

L' hotel est vraiment accueillant, parfait pour les vacances en couple , délicieux petits déjeuners à savourer vue sur mer. L' équipe est adorable; la gérante prend soin de ses clients et parle très bien français. Nous recommandons cet hôtel pour profiter pleinement de la côte ouest de la crête! 10 jours de vacances extra a Akasti !

Läget på hotellet är toppenbra, men mannen som jobbar i receptionen var inte rolig att ha att göra med. Och det är absolut sämre skick än vad bilderna visar och jag tycker inte det var speciellt rent heller.

Merveilleuses vacances à Akasti Hôtel
Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour ce petit hôtel familial. Très bien situé face à la mer et à 150 mètres d'une superbe plage avec transats et parasols gratuits. Quelques magasins, bars et restaurants à proximité mais le centre ville de Chania est très proche 4 kms et très facile d'accès avec un bus/15 minutes 3.40€ aller/retour. L' hôtel est vraiment comme sur les photos du site pas de surprise. Très bien entretenu, propre, belle chambre entretenue tous les jours par une dame souriante. Piscine petite mais agréable et bien tenue également. En ce qui concerne le bar/restaurant celui-ci se trouve à l'étage surplombant la mer avec une vue magnifique et un super coucher de soleil. Nous n'avions pas pris le petit déjeuner inclus mais nous pouvions prendre celui-ci entre 8h et 10h sans réservation sous forme de buffet pour le prix de 5 €. Assez simple mais diversifié. Pour le soir le restaurant de l'hôtel était très intéressant car nous pouvions y manger avec une carte très diversifiée et avec beaucoup de spécialités et à un prix avantageux souvlaki 6 € salade grecque 4,5 € ! En ce qui concerne l'accueil, il fut formidable, vraiment, Stella qui travaille à la réception parle le français, elle est vraiment très gentille et nous a vraiment bien conseillé pour les excursions à réaliser pour les horaires de bus etc.. Elle a pris tout son temps pour nous, son mari y travaille aussi et leur fille Eva au resto très sympa et souriante. Merci à tous pour ces vacances inoubliables !

Par contre pas d'eau chaude, pas de micro onde, le personnel est pratiquement inexistant... Par contre je trouve que le prix correspond exactement à la prestations! Le restaurant est très bon, je précise le bar n'est jamais ouvert dans la journée. Pas en centre ville donc plus agréable, mais véhicule obligatoire pour plus de mobilité.

L'hotel non è sul mare ma su una strada costiera di grande passaggio, meglio prendere una camera interna. Ci sono camere con vista mare ma prima del mare c'è ovviamente la strada e non c'è spiaggia ne altra possibilità di balneazione. La spiaggia è comunque a poche centinaia di metri, ben servita di localini con personale molto gentile. Al contrario in hotel si vede a malapena qualcuno alla reception la mattina. Suggeriamo di dare subito una mancia al personale delle camere perché potrebbero scordarsi di sistemare proprio la vostra. Non aspettatevi nemmeno un caffè prima dell'orario prestabilito per la colazione anche se il Bus per le gite parte presto. La cameriera del ristorante è completamente diversa dal resto dello staff: cordiale e solare.

hotellet ser absolut inte ut som på bilderna och efter femte dagen så sade vi till angående att lakanen eller handdukar inte bytts på rummen sen vi kom dit och personalen i receptionen sa att dom skulle byta dagen efter. Dagen efter sa vårat sällskap till städaren som sa no no no. då ringde vi till Hotels.com som inte hjälpte med någonting utom att ringa hotellet . Då kom Hotel ägaren och skrek på oss och sa att vi fick byta lakanen själva eftersom att hans personal inte hade tid. Sista dagen så bad vi om kvitto och han blev väldigt irriterad. ALDRIG MER

Vires værelse lignede et fængsel vi spurgt efter rene håndklæder efter 2 dage, personalet blev fornærmet og sagde det fik vi først efter 4 dage.... vi flyttede hotel!
