The hotel is a very easy walk from the port. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The owner provided us with a map and an excellent explanation of how to access various activities and points of interest. The pool was delightful. Very good. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Best check-in experience! Offered something to drink right away and was given a cold 1.5L bottle of water right away. Great breakfast buffet! Shower could have been bigger and looked complicated to operate.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel with incredibly helpful staff who made our stay pleasant. The family room we had was perfect for our needs with an amazing shower and excellent air conditioning (not always found in Greek hotels!) The included breakfast was delicious and varied every day. The location was perfect just off the main shopping area and a few mins walk to the port. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend.

Good one night stay
Room was big, clean, comfortable and had an excellent shower. Staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and a lot of variety. We enjoyed that it was maybe 15 mins walk from the port with local restaurants and bars nearby. We ate and drank in the little streets of the old town part and loved it. My only negative is that the pool area could do with a bit of a spruce. But that doesn’t stop us going in the pool.

At arrival, we were well received with a nice refreshment and explanation of hotel and surroundings. There are no elevators. Rooms were decent size with a nice little balcony. The beds seemed old; I could feel where people sat and slept. Area is quiet and they let you take towels to the beach. Breakfast was included.

I was very pleased with this resort. The staff were very helpful in arranging taxis or coordinating laundry services (returned same day for 15 euros). The area was very convenient, some great restaurants in close proximity (highly recommend Scirocco). It is also very close to the little shops and ice cream places near the port. We arrived by ferry and took a taxi because it was close to midnight, but walked back to the port for the departure. It was very close and likely took less time than a taxi. The pool was great to have to cool off in the afternoon after exploring. The breakfasts had good options too - eggs, breads, yougurt, pastries, cheese, etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this small boutique again. Thank you Aeolis for a great stay!

Staff was incredible, right from the time I walked in. Tony, I believe was the gentleman's name, really started my stay off right. Little bit of a walk to the port where a lot of shops and restaurants are, but nothing major. Best place I ate was actually, left out the door..left of Main Street and then 1/2 a block on the right.

Nice enough hotel in good location. Staff were good. The pool area is a bit small but they've done the best they can in a limited space. I'm afraid I had an issue with my room. It was a downstairs room in the corner facing onto the main street. It had a small balcony/terrace that gave me a great view of people walking by. The room was a bit dark and no in-room safe. Maybe I'm wrong but I just felt as a solo traveller I was low down the pecking order. I asked for a higher room but nobody got back to me. I was only there a few days so maybe no time and the hotel was quite full. I don't like leaving negative reviews and I'm trying to be fair and give them the benefit of the doubt but I just wasn't very happy with my stay, I'm afraid.

It was a very good hotel. Its location was good although not the very best. However, it was very clean, safe and the most important, its service was excellent. Penny at the front desk was very helpful and very supportive and nice, but Georges Gratsias was really superb!!!! He was so helpful with everything we need, so supportive, but most important, he was extremely nice. He is just the best. Thank you both, but thank you Georges for making such a difference!!!!!!!

Disappointing
While staff were friendly and tried their very best, we were disappointed by the hotel. The air-conditioning in our room was broken, and despite attempts to fix it it did not work well throughout our stay. There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom sink. The door to the bathroom could not be closed. There was no room around the pool for more than a couple of people to use it. For us, the pros (very good staff and good location) did not make up for the poor quality of the hotel itself.

I would not call this a Boutique hotel.
The hotel personell at the reception did their absolute best to make our stay as good as possible. So from that aspect there are no complaints. However, there is mismatch between what is described and pictured and reality of the boutique hotel. - there are descriptions on the amenities that are not true in reality (full-service spa, coffee/tea maker in the rooms, pillow menu, pillowtop mattress, soundproof rooms). The lack of some of this is in dialogue described as due to covid, but then I think the hotel should be making this clear on their site. The rooms for sure are not even close to be soundproof. Not sure why this is listed at all as you can hear everything. Being boutique, I also would expect something extra but I did not experience anything that would make this hotel Boutique. F.ex the breakfast is a standard continental breakfast, and the juice of low quality concentrate and the coffee machine is not suitable the breakfast rush. My room had a fridge that was in a closet. However its door got stuck to the frame everytime so that I actually has to lift the fridge to be able to close it. Should be easy to fix, but it should be done. On the positive note, the hotel provided beach towels and parking which was very helpful. So all in all, the level of expectation the hotel had created with me on their website did not match reality, although Penelope and George really did all they could to make the stay nice.

Unexpected surprise, but don't shower too much
Unlike most of the other hotels in the vicinity, Aeolis offers a very good parking less than 100m from the propriety. The location is perfect, being close enough to the city center so that one can walk there every night, but not too close that the noise of downtown becomes a problem. Staff was super helpful and friendly, giving great tips on what to do, and where to go. Our main problem, however, was the shower: it's one of those "capsule" models, which some peoplr may like, but we particulary detest. We asked the front desk, and aparently is the same for every room. Apart from that, the hotel is perfect! I do recomend.

Lovely stay in Naxos
Our stay here was a welcome break during an intense period of travel in Greece. Hitting the pool shortly after our arrival felt incredible. The staff was incredibly professional and hospitable. They had tons of wonderful recommendations for activities on the island. The hotel is centrally located close to all restaurants, shops, the port, and historic quarter. It also has complimentary parking in a private lot. All in all, we were very happy with our stay.

We were here fifteen years ago and the hotel had unfergone major renovations. Close to the square on one of the main access routes to the Chora. Very friendly staff that makes you feel welcome and appreciated all the time. Arranged for pick up and drop off at airport. Excellent breakfast buffet. Big room with decent size bathroom. Balcony, safe and tv. Some issues with street noise and guests returning early in the morning. Highly recommended. Did not use pool. Good wifi. Free secure parking nearby.

Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Airport transfer services were confusing. On Orbitz upon booking it said “free airport shuttle”. At the hotel we were told it costs €10, cab driver charged €17. Mattasses were hard. But overall central location with pool.

Amazingly kind and helpful owner!
Even though we didn’t end up staying in the Hotel Michaelidos was amazingly helpful in finding us alternative accommodation and then when I left my passports in another hotel he went out of his way to collect them for us and arrange to have them taken by ferry to our next island. Such an amazing and kind man!

The hotel is very centrally located 5-10 min walk to St George beach (very kid friendly) and the Limani. The room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Definitely Worth it!
Great overall experience with Aeolis. The breakfast was amazing and the owner was very friendly. As soon as we showed up he showed us where to go around the island and places to see, answered all of our questions and helped as much as he could. The hotel and island itself do not have a massage center during the off season even though it is listed, but aside from that the Hotel was great.

Best hotel after 6 weeks in Italy and Greece. handy to beach, restaurants, shops and ferry. Manager was very helpful. He gives a brief about Naxos on arriving. Big buffet breakfast. Best Greek yoghurt with honey. Would stay again definitely. Room and bathroom good size, with fridge and safe.

We visited the island of Naxos, and stayed at the Aeolis Hotel at Agios Georgios. Our experience at this hotel, besides the beautiful sites and amazing beaches of the island, made our visit worth it on every aspect. Michalis, the manager, is friendly, courteous, informative and he's always there to help and accommodate. Michalis, and the staff, go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable and with every need met. In addition to that, the breakfast at Aeolis is an ambrosia for the Olympian gods. Michalis even arranged special rides to and from the pier, tour busses, and beaches for our whole family, and for our mother, who is elderly and needs additional assistance. We will return to Naxos, hopefully very soon, and when we will, our choice will definitely be the Aeolis Hotel. Thank you for an incredible visit, The Anastasia Family

Family run hotel
A friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. The family running it was very sweet and accommodating. We were able to stay until 5 pm on our last day at no extra charge. There was also a large buffet breakfast that we weren't expecting to be included but was. The man we dealt with the most was very nice and even tried to help me fix a broken suitcase, the other people (who I assume are his parents) speak only Greek so communication was difficult. There was no check-in or out. Expect the kind of service you'd get from staying with a family, not a chain hotel. The room was good for us, 2 double beds, small but clean. The bathroom had only a frosted glass door. For a price, I would definitely recommend Hotel Aeolis.

Ended up in this hotel after hotels.com managed to screw up our reservation in another hotel in agioa prokiopous. While we weren't thrilled to not be on the beach front, this hotel was worth it. It was clean, confortable and the staff very friendly.

Great hotel great location
Me and my fiance stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and it was bliss! Great location right near Market Square. 5 min walk to the Port and plenty of lovely restaurants and bars very nearby. Although we spent most of our time on the beach, the lovely pool was a welcome treat on our return and on our last day when the hotel allowed us to use it and their shower facilities once we had checked out as we had a late ferry. Free taxi ride to the Port was a bonus too! Rooms well cleaned every day. Lovely little balcony for late night glass of wine. Would definitely recommend. It was tricky to find as there are no signs, but the lovely people of Naxos are more than happy to help you out, as we found out!

Nice Hotel, walking distance from the city centre.
Very nice 'family-type' hotel, close to the city centre, port and the old market. It has been recently renovated and has good facilities and comfortable rooms. Lobby/Reception area was spacy but not as modern. Breakfast was plenty and descent for Greek island standards. Most (if not all) the rooms don't have a sea view. But don't get discouraged, the nearest beach is only a few minutes away.

The hotel appeared newly renovated. Room amenities above normal. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Both Mike and Alex, owners, were always there to assist with any questions. 5min walking (if that) to beach and restaurant area. Reason for non-5 rating for comfort is typical with travel in Greece, 3rd and 4th sleeping was pull-out but that was the room we selected Breakfast was very good buffet with wide assortment. Definitely suggest Aeolis and Naxos for family vacation.
