"The pool was filthy. The whole premises is in dire need of upgrading and some love. What was on offer for dinner was questionable. There was a 1-page menu with numerous items that you could not have as they did not have stock. There was no-one else eating there which is usually a dead teller that one should not eat there, which I did not do either.

"We had a great stay at Moorcroft for two nights.
Couple of tips: 1) Exit at Howick off N3 as the roads are paved, 2) Bring rain gear as it rained quite a bit when we were there, 3) Aim to arrive before sunset as it gets quite dark on the roads, 4) The kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. and there aren’t too many options nearby.

"Didn't look at the pool as it was too cold being late winter!
Very comfortable and clean rooms, great dinner in the dining room, helpful receptionists, and a very nice and helpful night watchman, Ben, making the place feel safe. Good to drive the car through the gates at night too, even though the Himeville and Underberg areas feel safe."

"We all loved the cabin ...bed comfort was fine and internet was okay.
The amazing views and walks I really enjoyed. Everyone was friendly and our cabin was cleaned up each day thanks to the staff.
I wouldnt hesitate to book again.
