What can I say other than I would love to return year after year to this place. From the staff who greeted us to the ranger and tracker who accompanied us in open Land Rovers on our small group safaris, every single person gave us care, attention and made us feel so very welcome. We saw amazing wildlife (6 of the Magnificent Seven), and even did some exciting off-roading in pursuit of a glimpse of the rarely seen African wild dogs who were running in a pack. My fiancé and I stayed for 2 nights at Elephant Plains and loved every minute. As I have never loved nature, I was skeptical and restricted the stay to 2 nights, but have left with khaki fever thanks to the safari guide (Matt) and tracker (Dumi). Wonderful place. We had an absolutely amazing stay, from start to finish. Saw every kind of animal and the guides and staff could not be faulted. The food was incredible as well, and nothing was too much trouble.

What a great place! We had so much fun, the lodge is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It was a truly unique stay, we saw the big 5 and also managed to relax and enjoy the hospitality. The staff remember your name and you’re made to feel like part of the family. Would definitely stay here again.

The villa was magnificent and in many ways better than what's shown in the photos. All the staff were very professional and made sure we were taken care of.

Wonderful place, Rangers, trackers and staff. Excellent food in terms of quality and choice and lovely wines / beers. Loved every minute and would love to return again. Been to other ( more expensive) camps in the area and this one is much more relaxed and enjoyable.

Stayed 4 nights - sheer perfection and so so quiet at night. Could not find fault and recommend to other friends already. We will be back again.

This is an amazing hotel, delicious food and drink is all included and the service is friendly but exemplary. On arrival we were on a game drive within the hour and saw the big 5 in one go as well as lots of other animals, birds and reptiles. Everything about Needles Lodge was excellent. From our room, which was spacious and beautifully finished, to the unbelievable food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We loved having the animals wander by and spent hours by the delightful pool. The lodge's main areas are great too with lots of books for reading about the animals. The staff were really helpful and kind, it was just the most wonderful few days and we can't wait to return!

We had a fantastic stay at Monwana game lodge. Nikki was a great host and Werner and Morris were a fantastic duo as ranger and tracker. Would highly recommend this truly memorable place to anyone and the small intimate nature of the lodge makes it even more special.
