"Clean and attentive staff and good location but noisy because of the major road in front.
Unfortunately the A/C didn’t work because of the season it was shot down, it didn’t even blow air.

Splendid Hotel Lac d'Annecy - Handwritten Collection
8/10 Good
"Excellent location, right in front of the lake. The room was very comfortable and the hotel felt well maintained. Overall, we had a great stay.
A couple of small points, however. Considering this is a four-star hotel and that there is a €14 per night fee for dogs, I expected a bit more attention to pets. The only item provided was a simple aluminum water bowl, which we had to request at reception. In other places we have stayed, hotels sometimes offer small extras such as a dog bed or treats, even without charging an additional fee.
The breakfast also did not feel quite worth the €22 per guest."
"The top floor for breakfast is the best part and the views are amazing but our room was extremely expensive for what it was, the bathroom was super super small, the beds were not even twin beds. If you want toiletries you have to ask them in reception which sometimes you don’t know what you need until afterwards… "
"I adored my stay at the Novotel. We got a suite with a view over the marina and it was bigger than we thought. To start, as soon as we arrived, a man (I didn't have his name), helped us with our luggage. Then, Gilles checked us in and was amazing: he told us everything about the amenities in the hotel. Remembering that we are in Monaco and that I am a nobody, I felt treated like a queen!!! The breakfast had a lot of variety so everyone could find their taste. The food tasted so good. No issue about cleanliness. Even at the bar and restaurant, hosts were kind. This hotel should be at minimum a 4 star-hotel and not 3 star. The sauna and Hammam were also good. The gym was small with maybe only 7-8 equipments but it was fine. My sister and I managed to use them with no problem. I cannot recommend this hotel more. I loved my experience and for the price, it would be my spot whenever I go on vacation to Monaco."
