"This property is recently updated and beautiful. The fireplaces in each room are really cool and modern. No real fire, but different color options and heat settings. The views are exceptional. We prefer the marina view because you can see the main drag and do some people watching. The bed was so comfortable and the dog friendly aspect was really great. There is an amazing lobby that has coffee, snacks, and beer on tap. You can grab a bevi and sit on the adirondack chairs in the private outdoor patio area while watching the cormorants, sea lions, loons, seagulls and many fishing boats returning from their charter voyages. The general manager, Don, is a treasure that we never expected. He is a hard working man. The house keeping staff is so accommodating and friendly and they took really good care of us. It is reasonably priced and we look forward to the new restaurant that will hopefully be opening by this summer. It's pretty sexy. We will always return to The Sand Dune Inn with much anticipation of a wonderful and relaxing experience. Thank you so much. It was a memorable 41st anniversary. Rangie Was Here!"

"Breakfast had a nice variety but nothing was hot. Room had a “sofa bed” that we needed to use but it did not fold out to a bed so I ended up sleeping on a couch instead of a bed. Several of us tried to figure it out but didn’t see how it classified as a sofa Bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful"

"First got there hair in the bed garbage left in corners the beds were not comfortable at all. Windows dirty couldn’t see out. Breakfast was ok card keys wouldn’t always work kept going to front desk to change them. Probably won’t stay there again."

"Family friendly, comfortable no frills rooms. A bit dated, but rooms were large and a full kitchen."
