Although off the Way Stockbridge is a beautiful village and convenient half way point to stop for the night. The owner were extremely welcoming. Was told that there may be late night noise due to the new night club opposite. Which didn't close until about 3am. Also informed that there was a function in the hotel which would finish at midnight. Also changed our room so any noise from the night club would not disturb us. Location was on a busy main road so exiting by car was difficult at times. Car parking although off road was tight. A bit too far to walk into Salisbury for an evening meal and nothing close by was good enough. Breakfast was hot and excellent, many choices. Staff very friendly. A very distinguished property with quiet rooms, no squeaky floorboards as we have seen and heard elsewhere. A lovely place and would stay again.

I stayed here just one night, but I had a fabulously comfortable sleep! The room was a good size, very clean and recently decorated (my visit was March 2017). As a wheelchair user, I can also say the accessibility is pretty good. There was a slight problem getting through the entrance door as the threshold is a bit high, but staff were quick to assist in getting me through a more appropriate door.
