"We were only staying overnight but were able to appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel and the room, how central it was, and how friendly the staff was. They do charge for parking (which surprised me), but it was not a lot ($12.00)."
"The staff is nice I can say that. However the individual and or family staying above me which I assume is room 205 was playing a horn or some sort of horn instrument 1:30 pm in the afternoon the first day of my stay. Which, I found to be rude staff was helpful in rectifying the issue.
The food that is served could be a lot more better for the price you are paying to stay there and i didn’t like that paper plates and plastic utensils were used as well. It’s not that many patrons in my opinion to be using paper plates and plastic utensils and it made my stay feel cheap if that makes sense.
Purchase of breakfast during stay i would bypass and go to the nearest ihop or dennys for a better breakfast experience
I didn’t know the Marriott was literally next door which is where I will be staying for future trips to the area.
And if possible you should try putting families with children housed on one side of the hotel and individuals without kids on the other side children are so noisy and lack self awareness hearing kids all hours of the day when you just want to relax was kinda annoying for me but it’s a nice hotel for I’d say families"
"Maybe the mistake was booking one of the cabins instead of a regular room. The first indicator that there would be cleanliness issues started before we even walked in the door of the room. A q-tip and a couple pieces of trash laid right out side the door. The room initially looked cute enough, dated, but cute. All the windows and sliding door were open upon entering which we quickly found out was absolutely necessary to air the strong scent of wet dog in the room that lingered our entire stay. The couch was very visibly not clean either. Neither of us dared to sit on it our entire stay. The shower & bathroom floor were filthy. Like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. I took a napkin and wiped the entrance to the shower and was horrified to see so much filth. I will say, the bed was perfectly clean & comfortable which was the only reason we stayed. For that, I am thankful. We were in and out and only used the room to sleep because of the cleanliness issues. Bummer because the place has so much potential & is surrounded by beautiful trees & even a little waterfall. I’m not super picky with hotel rooms, but this was really bad."
"Heritage Inn was an older complex, but a lot cleaner than some of the major chain hotels I have stayed in recently. Staff was really nice and it was a great price."
"We love it all, we would love to see the carpet removed in the downstairs s rooms by the pool. When we arrive our room always smells like pet pee. I always have to make a run to Safeway for pet deodorizer spray.
A flooring upgrade would be grand!!!"
