"Absolutely Loved Our Stay – A New Family Tradition! We had such a wonderful experience during our stay, made even more special as it was our first trip with our 2-month-old baby. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home it truly felt more like staying at a family-run inn than a typical corporate hotel. A huge thank you to Jenn, Nicole, Chloe, Sandra, and every single team member we were so impressed by the kindness and care shown throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the cabin-style rooms, which was incredibly spacious, cozy, and just perfect for us as new parents. It gave us the comfort and peace we needed while traveling with a newborn. "This is in a wonderful area of the Catskills with a creek streaming in the back if you wish to visit it. I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. It's close to farm stands or antiquing in the various towns along route 23."

"Check in was easy. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well appointed. Three super minor, small issues: a pan was rusting through, the bathroom fan was broken, and our blinds were stuck. Only blinds no curtains. Loved having an actual kitchenette. Bed was comfy. Plenty of storage. Very quiet. Good wifi. Great location. Would come back!"
