Top Grand Bluffs Conservation Area Hotel Reviews
Inn at Hermannhof
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay. My sister and I arrived on the Amtrak and stayed for 3 nights. We loved the hotel and how close it was to a winery, distillery, and restaurants. My sister had a physical disability, so the staff was very helpful during our stay. The shower was top notch and the inn’s elevator was very convenient. We had a great getaway."
Captain Wohlt Inn Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Amazingly clean room, very friendly staff, and pet friendly place! The convenience of being downtown, but not close to any busy streets was great! This tastefully remodeled historic home was a excellent place to stay. From the moment we reserved a room to after the moment we checked out, the staff of the Captain Wohlt Inn did a wonderful job making sure all was taken care of. I can't thank them enough for contributing to an amazing weekend in such a historic town. I will definitely return in the future, no doubt! (The cookies they hung on the door at night were an awesome added touch. So much so, that we asked for more!)"
Hermann Hill
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful resort and room."
Baymont by Wyndham Fulton
10/10 Excellent
"Lots of mixed reviews on this property and hesitantly booked a room. We had no issues whatsoever. Room was decent. You can tell that owners have made efforts to upgrade and renovate the property. Breakfast was decent and lots of options maybe not so much for dietary restrictions so take that into consideration if you are gluten free, vegan, etc. It was a quick overnight trip so we did not use the pool or much other amenities but the lobby is nice with lots of seating. Would definitely stay here again if need be."
White House Hotel
8/10 Good
"A beautiful property that really takes you back in time. It is clear that there is a lot of attention to detail in the decorating and it was certainly a unique place to stay. We will be recommending the tour of the hotel to family and friends, but not an overnight stay. Upon check in, the manager informed us that the previous occupant of our room had issues with the shower (bits of the piping coming out of the shower head?). She mentioned that if we had troubles, she was sorry in advance. No attempts to alleviate our concerns or offer a different room were made. The clawfoot tub was nice, but the shower came out at a trickle and took nearly 10 mins to warm up. Something I didn’t consider beforehand was the proximity to the rail line, so trains are very loud as they pass through all night. Foam earbuds were provided but did little to help the noise. Also, a very minor inconvenience, but the keurig machine didn’t have any plain coffee—all was heavily flavored or decaf. Again, it was a beautiful property and room but the amenities left room for improvement."
Stone Haus Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Stone Haus was such a beautiful place! From the screened in porch to the 2 comfy living rooms, to the gorgeous patios and inviting hot tub it is a must stay!"
Cedar Creek
10/10 Excellent
"This was an amazing place to stay! I didn’t have any idea the place would be that cool. The rooms were clean, the entire property was like a little resort with different activities including tennis, pickleball, an outdoor pool, pool table, a nine hole golf course, and a neat outdoor covered fireplace. The breakfast was amazing also. I would definitely recommend!"
The Gallery
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful stay! Location was great and the place was very clean!"
Hermann Grain Bins BNB
10/10 Excellent
"It was so comfortable and uniquely and beautifully decorated! There was so many awesome areas to explore inside and outside of the Grain Bins. Food provided for breakfast was fresh and hot. There was perfectly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs and really moist corn muffins with homemade mango preservers! We were welcomed with fresh, homemade plum bread. Instructions for everything available to utilize and operate were easy to understand. I can’t wait to go back and I will tell all my friends and family about this unique and relaxing place."
