I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. Ainhoa was an amazing host who made us feel welcome immediately. Our room was clean and spacious. The patio is beautiful and a lovely place to enjoy the delicious breakfast. If you're looking for a guilt free place to be a tourist in Granada then we would highly recommend it.

Excellent location to Al Hambra palace. 9 min walk. Bus 32 frequent and takes you to plaza san Nicholas. A must visit and especially on the night to see Al Hambra in lights. Restaurants there fantastic with excellent views. The hotel is amazing.

The property has been lovingly restored and furnished to a high standard. We stayed in the Italian room. The little coffee shop downstairs was gorgeous, as well as the pastries. The staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Location was perfect! I would highly recommend Casa Palacete 1822 if you are visiting Granada. A true ‘boutique’ hotel and we would definitely stay here again if we ever came back to Granada!

Walked into the hotel and it was wonderful. A courtyard with a small fountain and pool surrounded by buildings on all sides - all 14th 15th century - it was beautiful. Was peaceful and tranquil. The terrace overlooks the Alhambra Palace and it was beautiful sat out during the day in the sunshine. The arrangements were easy. Rooms were immaculate and good wifi access even on the terrace. It was peaceful although you are near to action in the old quarter if you want it. I will hopefully be staying here again

There was nothing in the room except for the bare minimum. Towels and a shower kit. No kettle or glasses/cups. No cutlery. If I was looking for more than somewhere to sleep then this would have disappointed me. Shame I couldn’t make myself a coffee this morning.

I stayed here for almost two weeks, it's a really nice place to stay, warmy and family environment.

PROS: Location is fantastic. The property is clean with well-thought out designs and amenities, and looks like what you see in pictures. CONS: Having no actual person to talk to re checking in and checking out might be off-putting at first, but nonetheless, this was well-handled by Casa Lavanda. It’s a beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and loungers, and the reception staff were so helpful.

All the staff were friendly and nice. Receptionist Elisa was particularly super helpful. She and her colleague went out of their way to help us find ways to get to places we wanted to visit. There’s a “breakfast terrace” where you can get coffee, use the microwave etc free of charge. WiFi was decent. Location was central, we could walk to most of the attractions.
