Gradina

We had a beautiful stay here for 3 nights from the first weekend in October, we wished it was longer. It was absolutely beautiful, serene. You really feel like you can disconnect from the world and be one with nature as you hear the calm ocean. We were welcomed by Miro, there are no words to describe this man, he is such a kind, considerate, thoughtful person who went out of his way for us. He showed us up to our room and it was a beautiful cosy place. It was like a boat house. He showed us around and provided us with general information. We asked where the closest shop was so we can get a few things. We had cash in pounds but not enough euros for a taxi. Miro offered to take us to the shops so we could get our essentials. This was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, he waited patiently whilst we got our things from the shop and dropped us back. A day later we decided to venture initially to perast, Miro provided us with a number for a taxi, i asked Miro if that was a good price, he said that is too much and decided to take us himself! Due to traffic we diverted to Porto Montenegro and once Miro dropped us off he said when we wanted to come back let him know and he will pick us up. We treated us like family instead of guests. Miro you truly are a beautiful soul. Thank you for making our stay stress free and enjoyable.

Overall a fantastic hotel, great included breakfast (tried some more local cheeses and hams + good smoothies) and staff were very helpful and lovely. Having booked the least premium room there was no view or much light - but we stayed for only one night. The thing that let the property down was the location, whilst close enough to the airport and Kotor, much of the surrounding area was under construction. Furthermore, the village it’s built in is constructed by one company and feels very ‘toy town’ meets UAE. Whilst there are some amenities and restaurants, it can feel a little lifeless. That said it’s not the fault of the hotel but more an observation if you want a more casual authentic vibe outside the hotel.
